An Ordinary Suburban 9 Hole 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 26, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

- seemed well maintained with nice baskets
- respectable park next to a school
- some trees and slight slopes to add some interest

Cons:

- mainly street parking
- mostly open with no real variety and limited distance
- natural tees
- tee signs are very basic

Other Thoughts:

There really isn't a ton to say about this course except the current ratings are quite overblown - most reviews are drive-bys and aren't compared to other courses of varying calibers. This is a perfectly respectable course for a very quick round, someone who is learning, or for a family to play. For any serious player, you're going to be bored unless you're just hitting it for course bagging.

The terrain is not completely flat, but otherwise is very open and short with no holes over 300 ft. The park was generally in good shape, and the baskets were nice, although the tee signs and natural tees leave a bit to be desired. When I was there I had to deal with about a foot of snow, but I didn't hold that against the course.

If you're in the area, it's a perfectly serviceable course, and a great one to introduce someone to disc golf at in a low-threat setting. Otherwise, there's just nothing at all that really stood out to me. Though I wasn't able to play the UW-Platteville course nearby, it is supposed to be pretty good and I'd recommend spending your time there.
