The Doe Course at Whitetail Trails is one of three 9-hole courses on site. This course is tailored towards intermediate level players, but super short, less imaginative holes put it third on the property in my opinion.

+ Each hole has a concrete tee pad and the classic white Veteran baskets. Every basket has a DD flag on the top as an added bonus!

+ Multiple unique basket placements include a hanging basket and a basket on top of a cluster of boulders. At the time I played, there were a pair of vulture chicks hiding in the crevice/cave!

- Overall, I'm not a huge fan of this layout. Several holes play really close together, and a few are way too short. A few lines could definitely be cleared out to improve this nine.

- Could use better navigation between holes. There are no "next tee" signs anywhere. Also in need of tee signs.

At the time of this review, some more work needs to be done to make this a nine worth playing. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses with time!
