This is a challenging course on a busy golf course that incorporates elevation, trees and water in challenging ways. The "feel" of this course is more golf than disc golf, more that you are interrupting/trespassing on a golf course than a pure disc golf experience.

That said, the course is laid out in a fair and challenging way with a open and long layout as opposed to technical and short. there are a few short, somewhat technical holes, but the primary challenge here is length and not technical challenge.

The fist 5 holes, lettered ones remaining after the GCC, all play along a single, par 4 golf hole, starting in the rough areas to the right of the golf hole and then playing back on the other side. They are laid out very well with a good use of elevation and the cart path and other OB features.

The 18 numbered holes, which I think are the usual course, are mostly open with the occasional water challenge, especially holes 6 and 7, a short hole followed by a long hole, both with water on the right that encourage, but do not really require, water carries.

The remainder of the holes weave along, across and beside the golf holes. Golf has the right of way here and you should be mindful of the golfers. You share the tee boxes with them on several holes.

There are no top-of-the-world shots and no drastic uphill shots either. A number of greens have copious amounts of elevation changes with potential rollaways, and on 6 the potential to rollaway into the water.

A round, complete with a cart, is only $10, an obscenely low price. Golfers have to pay $20 just for the cart. Baskets are high quality, temporary mounted Innova baskets. Carts come with an ice chest and there are two bars at the clubhouse and a decent selection of Innova discs.

This is an excellent course that will be a lot more fun the second time than the first. I'd rate it higher if not for the navigational issues discussed below.

Navigation is probably the worst that I have ever seen. Get a map in the clubhouse, get them to point you to the first tee and then guess where it is and throw. I'm still not sure I threw from the correct area on hole 1. After that, it got slightly better.

Some tee boxes are areas where the concrete cart path has been ground and, occasionally, some of those ground areas have yellow, movable markers. Other tee boxes are the golf tees. Others are areas of dirt that have a couple of rocks that are easy to miss. Still yet, others are simply unmarked and you will have to guess.

While everyone should be thankful that this golf club put in a disc golf course, you couldn't ask for a worse navigational headache other than a course with no tees at all.

Golfers don't see disc golfers. Keep a watchful eye for groups coming up behind you and hitting away. They have the right of way and they are much slower than you, that is until you can't find the next tee.

This is easily a better course than Sunset when it comes to layout, challenge and fun. This is the course that you should play when you come to Vegas, unless you are in a hurry. In that case, play Sunset Park.

If misfortune brings me back to Las Vegas, I'll definitely play it again.

Everything you would expect from a ball golf course. Includes cart, cooler, and beautiful maintained course. Vegas mountains in the background make for a great view and it's only about 20 min from the strip. Pro shop has disc on hand for sale. $10 to play and only after 3PM. Map says must wear a polo but I didn't.

I wasn't offered a disc golf map so you may want to ask. I played the first few holes wrong because of it. That and the baskets are not marked with hole number. So I ended up playing number 1 tee to 2s basket and followed that trend until I meet up with some locals. So keep an eye out for the yellow markers on the path and play to the closest basket..

There are some water hazards you want to avoid on 9, 15 I believe and 18. A couple more I am forgetting but are on the map.

1 plays to the right with the basket in the sand among a bunch of large rocks.

2 plays long (495') to the basket behind #1 ball green

3 plays short to the left

4 plays long (564) to behind and right of 2 ball green

5 is a little drive around the club house by parking lot.

6 plays across the 3 ball fairway

7 plays to a basket behind 4 ball green to the left

8 plays kind of shot to the water edge

9 plays across the water to basket on the left. This one is in clear view. Side walk or path not OB here.

10 plays long (570) behind small trees that you want to stay out of. Play to the left and you should get a 3

11 had a hard time finding the yellow markers even with locals. Plays really long (708) to the right

12 is a possible birdy. Shot to the tree grown up as a V. Basket it just to the right of there

13 plays long (555) big right hand shot

14 straight

15 plays short after the long holes lol (378) on a small hill behind the ball green

16 plays long (675) with a water hazard to the right.

17 plays straight with water to the right.Tall cat tails almost impossible to find your disc unless it floats down the small water fall. Nice hole, really pretty

18 plays long (703) across the water to a basket behind the ball green. Sidewalk or path not OB here.

All sand traps are hazards with no relief.

Not really marked well for disc golf and you really need the map that and the baskets are not numbered are the only real issues I had besides the locals I meet up with. They seemed all cool at first when I asked to jump on there card . Then a couple holes latter when they threw a few bad shots, they wanted me to play through. I skipped a few holes to play with them, mostly because I was having issues finding the tees and baskets associated with it. That and I play golf all over the US solo and its just nice to play a round with other people. So once I played through I was again having issues finding the tees but it was better with a map I was given before they sent me on my way. I've got to say in 17 years of playing I've never experienced players with a weird attitude like that especially considering they said they were pros and welcomed me to join along. Anyways cant really hold that against the course but it was a buzz kill.

I would have given this a 4.5 if it would have been marked better for disc golfers. And sadly the local disc golfers attitudes played into my ratting as well. Sorry I always rate the locals to my reviews. That's why lesser courses could have a better star rating for me. I rate my whole experience.

Baskets are portable so this lay out could change at any time. (there might have been 2-3 holes that basket was chained down to avoid being stolen.

Most courses like this don't last long, at least not the ones Ive played so Id recommend getting out there to play.
