Pros:
Excellent view of the Bennington Monument. Nice bathroom right near the first tee. Nice picnic spots. Great elevation changes. There are 4 holes that use the woods to nice advantage. Beginner friendly shot making.
With the upcoming alternate tee locations, there will be a short and a long tee on every hole. The short tees are beginner friendly without being too easy, the long ones will challenge your accuracy as well as your arm strength. Alternating shorts and longs will give you a good 18 holes if you walk two loops.
The maintenance on the course has REALLY improved. The bulk of the low brush is gone, and the woods holes are much more forgiving of errant throws.
Cons:
The nine holes available right will not challenge your shot making skills that much. I base this on the number of discs I need to use on a course, and the number of alternative throws (thumber, forehand, backhand, roller, bomb, etc.) that you need to use. You can throw all backhand all the time if you throw it where you want it to go.
Ticks abound during tick season, bring your bug spray, wear long pants, do a check after your round.
The layout is short.
Other Thoughts:
Expansion still in the works.
There will be nine more tee locations before the end of the fall 2013, along with new signage.
