Fee of $10 weekends and $7 for weekdays and $2 to walk-in. No tee signs and Public safety hazards throughout the course.

: The course terrain ranges from open flat manicured grass to steep tunnels offering challenging +/- in elevation and water hazards. This course is laid out inside a county park with picnic areas, parking lots, walking paths, horseshoe pits and service roads winding through normally having theses amenities would be an asset to a course, unfortunately here they border or interfere with the tee pads, fairways and basket locations. With the exception of holes #7, #15, #16 all other poses a possible hazard to the public. For instance basket #17 has been removed due to the threat of flying disc hitting someone. I experienced an incident where a family that was using the picnic area in the fairway of hole #13. They had kids and I walked down towards them to warn them and a lady was just furious that I was just warning them instead of teeing off from a different location. She said,"My grandchild was almost hit in the head with a disc by the previous disc golfers."That is why I am warning you" was my reply. They threatened to sue me if I hit their kids. I teed off and they packed up and left.
I recently camped for a weekend here and enjoyed the clean amenities the park has to offer. Fishing is also on-site in their weekly stocked ponds of 1000 lbs. of trout. The water slide park was not open at the time nor was the paddle boats available these are seasonal.

This course is a great challenge. Lots of trees, hills and even a nice big water hazard. I enjoyed it much more this second time around.

I learned an important lesson the first time I played or attempted to play this course. DO NOT attempt to play this course on Labor Day weekend, even first thing in the morning. Overflow parking allows #3 tee pad to be covered by cars. #4 is unplayable due to the big picnic area right in between the tee and pin. #5 tee pad becomes a place for people to hang their hammock. #6 gets skipped due to all of the people fishing on the little dock and along the shore. The map of the course that you can get when you enter the park needs to be updated. hole 19 was eliminated and #17 and #18 were moved up. Unfortunately as a first timer on the course you can only figure that out by taking a hike to figure it out. The lack of some sort of sign at the tee pads made it difficult to find them in the tall grass also.

Knowing WHEN and WHAT TIME to play this course will help keep it more fun than disappointing. My second round there was today and we made it through the whole 18. It was fun. Going right when they open is the optimal time.

All holes very different, Very easy for first timers to find both tees and baskets. Love the over-the-lake shot, very intimidating though.
A wonderful park for the whole family, Many activities for non-golfers.

Had to deal with a school feild trip the day I went, this park can get very busy with non-DGolfers.

Just talked to the guys @ Mt. High, and they said Yucaipa has there own baskets now and will be opening up year round. They may be changing the location however to a less crowded area.

19 holes, great up hill and down hill shots. Some really crazy water shots. GREAT tee pads supper grippy. Multiple basket placements, long and short. Locals are way cool played with a few, and had a great time. You can drink BEER and smoke always a plus. Hole 18 is out of this world one of the hardest holes if you dont make it up top. Hole 5 is a short but very technical shot can end up short or its trouble or long and you are wet in the lack.

hole 1,2,19 are some what the same, 1 however has a few pin locations and 3 as well. Lake shots can be an easy way to lose plastic if you go for it and dont have the arm. the weekend can be busy but i was able to throw all 19 holes ever time.

I will make this a course i go to at least twice a year, i drove 90+ miles one way and was glade i got to make it to this course. Highly recommend you play it worth the entry fee at the gate.

Yucaipa Regional Park is a beautiful park with mature trees, three fishing ponds and mountain views. The course provides a good challenge for all skill levels. Big drives are not always necessary, but accurate shots are. Course requires a variety of shots to score well. Players that know how to throw roller shots and overhead shots will find several birdie opportunities. Excellent course for those that like a technical challenge rather than throwing one long drive after another. Course design makes the most of the terrain and park features. OB drainage ditch, roadways and lakes add to the challenge.
Holes 1 and 2 play on grass areas with OB park road to left and OB ditch to right. Hole 3 has two positions. Tee is on south side of park road and one basket position is across park road, the other stays on the same side of the road. Hole 4 is on grassy area with mature trees for obstacles and has two pin placements. Hole 5 plays downhill to the basket next to middle pond. Throw putters only on this hole or your drive could end up in the water. Hole 6 plays along middle pond to basket above spillway. It is very easy for those without a big arm to avoid throwing over the lake by throwing to the left early. Hole 7 plays uphill. Seven's fairway has become much easier over the years as player traffic has cleared out excess vegetation on the hillside. Hole 8 plays on the grassy area though large shade trees with brush filled drop off on the left. Hole 9 is the second longest hole on the course at 330 feet in middle position. Hole 10 is located on island surrounded by parking lots and main road. Hole 11 plays to basket on island surrounded by park road. Hole 12 plays down hill to two great basket locations. Hole 13 plays over picnic shelters to short pin position to left of park road. Long position is near spillway fence. Holes 14, 15 and 16 play uphill away from first pond. Hole 17 plays along lake edge. Double mandatory is used during events. There always seems to be fisherman on this hole no matter the time of day or day of the week. Players should proceed with caution. Hole 18 was changed from original design. Current Hole 18 is straight uphill on narrow fairway surrounded by thick brush. The tournament play uses the original hole from spillway up along dirt access road to current Hole 18 pin position. Hole 19 plays along park road with OB drainage ditch to right.
In addition to disc golf, the park offers fishing, swimming beach, paddleboat rentals, hiking and mountain bike trails, group tent camping area, RV camping with full hook ups and a water park.

Update: Course is now permanent.

Holes 1, 2, 3 right and 19 are repetitive, but still challenging.

Watch for fisherman on Holes 6 and 17.

This particular 18 hole layout will never be permanent. This park is absolutely packed in the summer months and park uses many of the fairways for overflow parking. Park intends to install a permanent 18 hole course in the area directly behind RV campground up and around third lake. However, the project is on hold until land dispute between Water Company and neighboring homeowners is settled.

-Tees. Grippy concrete. Moisture has never been a problem when I played here.
-Solitude. Both times I played Yucaipa the disc golf course was virtually deserted.
-Park setting with plenty of beautiful vistas and natural beauty.
-Design. Phew. Where to start? Lots of up and down. Hole 5 is about 200' and -30' elevation change. Water in the background and trees to avoid in the foreground. Super fun hole to empty your bag on. A few more holes include water as a major hazard as the course is set along a large, stocked lake. Several are open and several are heavily wooded. 18 has a tiny tunnel and about +40' elevation change and is a doosie. all types of shots are necessary here. Not much fairway crossover and the maps, available at the parking booth, are accurate.

-RV and tent camping available
-Great fishing in a nearby stocked lake
-Solid discatchers. Feels like seeing old friends I usually play with in Wrightwood...
-Near another SWEEET 9-holer in Redlands, Ford Park

-Lots of fishermen. I had to skip hole 6 the last time I played there because of all the fishermen between the tee and basket.
-$7 per carload to drive in. $2 to walk in...but it's a hike.
-No signs. Most holes are obvious with the aid of the course map. You can easily see all but18 from the tee.

Yucaipa is where Dave's Wrightwood baskets winter and what a spot! Very scenic. Lots of risky setups and opportunities to show off. One of the better courses in SoCal.
Rumor is Wrightwood is getting its own baskets so Yucaipa can be a 12 month course which will be sweet. One more course to play in the summertime!

Good variety of shots from tee and fairways. Excellent tee pads - 10 feet long and at grade with ground. Nice and tacky with stamped tee numbers on each box. Most holes have 3 different pin postions. Good use of OB using water, drainage channels, and roads. Good use of elevation. Mostly grassy fairways; however, the grass is usually thick which doesn't promote rollers or skips - can save the wayward shot though. Very scenic couse in a nice park setting with camping and fishing.

Not open in the summer due to heavy camping crowds and fishing.

They have a really good map of the course if you ask for one at the front. They hold monthlies on the first Saturday of the month, and have a pretty good turn out for most divisions.

-19 baskets
-Easy to navigate. Tees are all numbered, all concrete. Accurate map is provided at the entrance if you tell them you are there to disc it up.
-Lake comes into play on a few holes, but is pretty easy to avoid.
-Friendly locals, from what we saw anyway.
-Drinking appears to be legal at this park.
-Mostly a park course, but about a third of the holes are on dirt, which makes for some great variety.
-Hole 18 is unlike anything I have seen. Steep, narrow uphill shot to blind basket on a field at the top.
-The local people fishing helped my buddy fish his disc out of the lake!

-It was incredibly windy when we went. I don't know if the area is prone to this, it wasn't windy anywhere else that day, but it is what it is.
-Some tees throw DIRECTLY at picnic areas. I can see this being a problem if the park is busy.
-Holes 1, 2, and 19 are essentially exactly the same. Hole 3 crosses a road. 1, 2, 3, and 19 present a pretty sizable chance of hitting parked cars.

The course plays mostly on a grassy multi-use regional park. While many of the holes are your typical flat, grassy park shots, there are a number of wooded courses next to a picturesque lake. There is a good variety of up/down shots down in the lakeside area.

Hole 5 is a fun, short hole that gets you down to the lakeside with some very real danger of over throwing your disc into the water, or on a hillside if you come up short. Hole 18 is a narrow uphill tunnel that is something to write home about.

This course is open only in the wintertime, as the pins move to Wrightwood in the summer. Somebody mentioned that they are trying to keep the course open all year, but I don't really think this is feasible as many of the tees play through picnic areas. Not around them, but through them. Hole 13 drives literally directly at a picnic bench with a roof.

$10 to drive into the park, $2 per head if you park outside. Camping available.

Had a fantastic time at this course, but I am not rushing to go back. Maybe check it out again on a non-windy day. Beautiful and quiet setting though, but once again can see this being a different story if the park is busy.

nice park, easy to find each tee, couple different elevation changing shots, good distances from tee to basket, variety, cheap price (walk in is $2 and it takes 5 minutes to get to tee 1, worth the walk but if you have a few people in the car pay the car fee and check out the rest of the park) holes 5 7 12 16 18 are very challenging good job on those

some holes could have a lot of traffic of cars and people, 17 basket missing, not sure when the baskets get moved to wrightwood

i thought this course was thought out pretty good and could improve a couple of holes to make it a better course

Beautiful mountainside course. Good baskets and cement tee pads (with hole number, a nice touch). Some holes offer challenging drives through low hanging trees (8,9,12). Hole 5 is a fun drive down a hill. Hole 6 is a challenging water hole drive. Lots of wildlife, including squirrels and birds (including a heron and a bluebird while I was there).

Holes near roads are poorly designed (1, 3, 10). Occasionally others in park can be in the way, though they were nice enough to let me pass. Basket for Hole 17 is missing. When is this course open or closed, anyway?

A nice inland California course that's worth a look.

Decent mix of long crushes and short finesse shots with some well defined fairways and nice elevation changes. The lake comes into play and there is plenty of road OB that rewards well placed shots. The park is set in the foothills with wonderful views of snow capped mountains (at least today). Fairly easy to follow, even without tee signs. There are alternate pins on some of the holes, and I hear there may be some alternate tees for tournament play.

The layout we played today had several repetitive holes (1,2,19) and there were some missed opportunities for par 4 golf (for example holes 2 and 17). My partner (Snapper Pierson) shot -11 in our third round today, so the SoCal duece or die mentality prevails. The layout hiccups at hole 16, an uphill shot followed by a downhill walk essentially back to the tee pad, which begs the question, why 19 holes with this "connector" type hole?

A $5 entry fee during the week and $7 on the weekend. This course is fun to play, especially if you like throwing line drive laser shots. We drove 120 miles each way to check out the course, and I was not disappointed.
