Awesome Course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 9, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course is the best course I have ever played. Everything and I mean everything here is the best that it could be. The tee pads are amazing playing red white and blue. Some holes even have diamond shaped pads that slowly shrink down as you get to the end of the pad. Never seen that before! Sweet benches crafted from wood cut down in the park. The fairways are nicely cut through the tall pines. The risk of losing a disc is very minimal. They have 3 different alternate pin placements. The pines smell so good! Also have a porta potty on hole 9. Great course for anyone! Definitely will be back. Only 45 minutes from my house! Great mix of open and wooded holes as well.

Cons:

Only thing I can say would be a con is the lack of garbage cans but this is the only con I have.

Other Thoughts:

First hole is to the right of the parking lot. When we were there we were lucky to find a spot to park. Park is kinda out in the middle of nowhere but well worth finding it! Beautiful!

I spend a lot of time here 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 7, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This course is well thought out and offers a variety of shots open and tight, long and short. mastering this course requires a bag of tricks/skills. The multiple tees offer very different shots and makes the course more accessible to newer players. Fairways are well defined reducing the "luck" factor found on so many wooded courses. course is well kept and the signage is clear. TRhe flat terrain is easy on the knees.

Cons:

The city appears to be overtaking the course with a subdivision. the city doesn't care to maintain garbage cans on the course but do post them up front, which is no problem if players would all pack their garbage.

Other Thoughts:

Well worth the stop
