I haven't thought about that song for years. Does it sing "Do you really want to hurt me?" to the trees?

Here's the first part of my Moe Zone.

Can I ask you to brake down the process you used and the length of the dips?

Certainly! I start with a B&W photo (or desaturate a color photo), then use the trace bitmap feature on inkscape to create a multi-layered stencil (typically 5-6 shades of grey)... Then, take it to GIMP and clean-up. Weeding is surprisingly easy, just start with the darkest and work to the lightest (typically all of the shades are immediately adjacent to the next shade, so stay working within one "boundry" and you'll be golden). For dye times, from darkest to lightest, 7 minutes, 5 minutes, 2 minutes, 2 minutes, and the 5th layer stayed masked the whole time.:)

Maybe I shoulda specified, but the dye times are cumulative for the darker colors (so in reality, the darkest layer was in the dye bath for a total of 16 mins).

Cool thanks! I knew what you meant with the times. But my computer skills lack the knowledge to comprehend the work on the image you described.
