Last Tuesday I broke my record for found discs by a massive margin with 53 in one round! We were at Sabattus DGC in Sabattus ME and it was right after a day of torrential rain. On hole 7 on the Eagle course, I noticed a disc sticking out of the sand on the bank of the river. I pulled it out and noticed several more nearby. Long story short, my buddies and I just kept pulling out discs and even went into the thigh deep water to get about 20 more. The rains must have washed all the hung up discs down into the cul-de-sac and as the first ones to play the course that day we happened to find them first! All but two had names on them, so we stacked them up and flagged down one of the course employees to pick them up in an ATV. If you've lost a disc on the Eagle course, they likely have it back at the clubhouse. Included in the returns were an 11x teebird, 11x firebird, and a yellow barstamp buzzz so I'm sure someone's day got a lot brighter. I kept one of the no-names (a white KC pro Roc, nicely seasoned) but lost it on 8 trying to take the shortcut. My buddy kept an unmarked DX Valk but lost it as well on the second round.

Apparently those two discs felt they belonged in the wild and returned there as soon as they could... ;)

Props on the huge find/return!

I have a hard enough time finding one! May the disc karma return to you tenfold.

I think this will utterly disprove Disc Karma when some punk steals your favorite disc from the fairway.

Sabattus is A W E S O M E.

I took both routes when I played and did equally horrible on both, but didn't splash any plastic.

Yeah probably the best course I've played in New England (haven't made it to Maple Hill yet). I did OK scorewise. We played Eagle and Hawk twice and Owl once and I shot a -1 on Owl, -6 and -9 on Hawk, and -2 and Par on Eagle (all course par, none of that "all par 3" BS for the Hawk and Eagle). So far I've seen no karma out of this but don't believe in that anyway. I was just happy to get so many discs returned and finding that many at once was unreal.:)

I found 46 at Shawshank in Texas after throwing my Aviar in to the pond. It was gross. I got powerwashed after.

awesome find!!! I was going to play Sabbatus when I visited Maine last summer but played Quarry Run instead. Made a day trip out of going to Augusta

Thank God the PDGA doesn't have a DNR-type enforcement arm; that has to be over your limit!

Take a bow, sir.
