Post a cool disc golf photo

Playing with my dad on New Year's Day. Creekside in Archdale, NC. Hole #10
A beautiful 30 degree morning for a little disc golf. The basket is just right of the center in the first photo. Pops hit four pars. This is his eighth time playing and eighth course played.

Franklin Park hole 17

I took advantage of a day off last Friday and played Franklin Park. This is a shot of hole 17. I am standing on the white tee and that is the red tee that you can see in the pic. The distance from the white tee to the basket is 249 feet.

one of my favorite holes at franklin. after hucking it for 16 holes suddenly you need to throw with control.

Oooh, I love/hate holes like that with the trees off the tee. They are close enough to the tee that you should never hit them. Really - if they weren't there - how often would your drive go that far off without it being an epic fail anyways....

...But...since they are staring you in the face and you are thinking about them....you hit them more than you should.

Nice first post. Is that a home course?

It looks like it is.

It also appears to be a very well designed hole. What's the distance to the basket vonhanson?

Being a nice looking hole is why I asked. Plus being a home course guy myself, with some Insteps, it's neat to see.

Total speculation here, but even if it's only a putter distance... 150'-200' or so, it'd still put a little giddyap in my heart rate!

vonhanson still only has one post, but has been on the site since the post. So hopefully we get a reply sometime. :)

buddy was snapping a selfie and got me mid-shot. brp driving range. the crazy thing? i'm not lefthanded and he never flipped the photo. must be the front facing camera messing with things somehow, i dunno.

The pic doesn't really capture the entire effect, but this disc looked like it was glowing every time I picked it up out of the snow.
