Roc max distance??

Realistically what is the top distance Rocs can be thrown? Flat ground neutral wind, etc. I know it varies between players but what's the best you have seen or thrown?

I've played with a few guys that'll roc a 400' hole and have an easy birdie putt, but not sure about max D.

for me it is about 330...when I am at the top of my game. I don't ever try to push it that far on an actual course.

I know several people that can get 400 out of one. I know one dude that can throw ANY midrange over 400.

But really,I've seen guys bomb them 400' in a field. When I was throwing rocs I could hit 250' easily. I recently switched to a Buzzz and added 15'.

It's pretty difficult to overpower a roc, if your form is clean they'll take as much power as you can put on them. I've seen one go 450', my personal best is 380' with 350' consistently.

I have seen #15 at Mt Airy (560' downhill) get pinned with a Roc. 20' to the right of the basket and he missed his putt. :wall:

It was some Swedish dude, he was on the first card with Climo many years ago.

What about Crazy John Brooks hitting metal with one on the dam shot at the Columbus Open (now the Hambrick)? I believe that's a 600' downhill. He missed his putt as well.

Eh - it's a sweet shot to watch/throw, but not that difficult if going downhill. #7 at Ellison dgc in Rochester is like 530' downhill an I've put it within 15-20 with a Comet. Still, like I said, sweet to watch.
