stable putter

i think the dart is like a speed three though, i'm looking for a putter not a midrange/approach, but ya i did consider it

i gathered a list of discs that are fairly stable from a chart on gottagogottathrow, i was wondering if you guys would care to voice opinions on them and in what plastics?

APX
magnet
magic
omega
dart
warlock
aero

I love the R-Pro Dart for short (less than 150) and tight straight approaches. Great plastic and great glide.

Since it has a good glide rating, I use the Aero anytime that I want I float my disc near the basket and have a chance of hitting the putt. Otherwise, I use my Aviar.

I have a Voodoo and Wizard and like both of them. The Warlock is very similar to the Wizard without the bead so it stays straighter. I would suggest the Warlock, but what kind of plastic are you looking for? Hard, Soft, Rubbery?

well tomorow i'm going to look at the warlock and the magnet at my local disc shop and see which feels better in my hand, if i go warlock i'll probably go Super Stupid Soft because i'm used to throwing a SSS wizard and i like how they feel, if i go magnet i'll probably go soft also, maybe pro d we'll see

I'm of the opinion that if you are looking for a pure putter (inside 30ish feet) than the stability isn't going to factor in all that much. Now if you're approaching or driving with it then yes very significant. In my eyes its far more important to find a putter in a shape and plastic that yields a comfortable and consistent grip.

But of the ones you listed from the flight chart I like the Magnets and Warlocks. There is also the Putt'r which Tbird888 mentioned which do fly very straight.

i left the rattler off because it just feels weird in my hands, i can't grip it right, its more of an approach/midrange disc too

Pro D Magnet Great disc. Breaks in nicely and goes almost dead straight. It will hold any line you put on it. Plastic does ding up , but it does not affect the flight. Great putter.

Soft Magnet Has a little more glide than the Pro D. You have to try different ones, before you buy, because they can be super soft to rather stiff. Makes a great approach disc, and putter I carry one in the bag when I need to park my disc on hill. I also use it for hard hyzer putts because it parks nicely.

Titanic The Magnet in ESP plastic. Its like the best of both worlds. Has great glide like the Soft Magnet, but is in the best plastic, and does not ding at all. Makes a great Putt and Approach disc. I carry two in my bag.

Midnight, I think you need to just put something about magnets and the titanic in your signature, and then right above it put "If I post in your thread about putters, I am promoting the magnet and/or Titanic. Read below"

then you could just type +1, and be done. haha.

Well it least he is consistent, gotta give him that

hey one last thing, how is the durability on discrafts soft putters, i've never tried it (even though i have an all discraft bag)

ummm...if you hit a tree they will scar...I let my buddy try out my new black magnet and the moron whacked a tree directly in front of the teepad lol...it got some scrathes on it and bent that part of the rim...but you can reshape them fairly easily..and honestly it still flies the same lol...they LOOK like the get beat up..but they really don't kinda like what midnight said...magnets hold any line you put on them...I throw them on 220' holes and park them everytime...they are a wonderful disc
