I vote Roadrunner ~ I've never thrown a Sidewinder

My Roadrunner "Elvis" pulled in $50 for CLP in an Ace Race Throw-Off last weekend at The Aquafest Open in Lake Stevens, WA

Don that was such a great shot on that basket, congrats again on that, Aquafest was so much fun, you should come on out and play doubles some time, I'm out there every monday.

Had both, the Sidewinder in star is much more predictable than my champ RR, tight wooded holes I put a little hyzer on it and it joysticks around trees, also good for long sweeping anhyzers. My RR was good for big anhyzers but my Monarch was better so I turned the RR into another Star Skeeter, my turnover mid of choice.

Plus the Sidewinder has my only ace to its credit so yeah, you know how I'm gonna vote.

I like my flippy discs FLIPPY. I flick this think for a huge anny that might come out a little at the end, and the sidewinder I tried just wouldn't keep that line as long.

They are so similar it is hardly worth discussing, but I have thrown the Sidewinder more, so I vote for it.

i vote other....i never really cared for either....i used to use a roadrunner for rolling and thats it, but once i figured out how to roll my monarch i took the roadrunner out bc it was just adding extra weight to my allready overloaded bag

I've found them both to be pretty dern similar, with the RR being a little "flippier" right out of the box. I voted RR and prefer the star plastic versions of both discs.

the sidewinder is by far better, star sidewinder is just a spectacular disc

see it's winning in votes.....

might as well pick one up after I lose all my RR's.

no point in buying one now when I already have 2 RR's in bag and a fresh brand new one waiting for one of them to be lost.

old thread ... yeah yeah... least i used the search button
i vote roadrunner, i have a champ rr 177, had a 17? star sidewinder
liked em both, but the RR got more distance, sidewinder seemed to fight back to hyzer quicker (not a bad thing) both are great turnover discs but the RR seamed to turn slower, much more predictable for me so it won the battle
now if i only had a katana...

....

When i started i loved my Sidewinder.... it was the perfect compliment to my Wraith. It was easy to throw and went far.

I've since upgraded to the SL and (recently) the Katana.

Skip the Sidewinder/Roadrunner/Beast/SL testing and go straight to the Katana. Same <everything> but a lot farther.

It's truly an instant distance disc for the non-hercules arms.

I have the Sidewinder, Avenger SS, and the Roadrunner, and to me, the RR is the best.

The Sidewinder has a slight less fade, but my Roadrunner (and I have 5!!) flies longer for distance. At least for me. The Sidewinder I use for shorter drives that require a straighter flight.

i'm gettng upset i revived this thread only to see the roadrunner losing ground... whats with you folks...

they dont own a katana and realize that both are made basically irrelevant by this new disc. Same flight, same everything, 30-50 more feet.

Innova has made the noodle arm's best friend.
