[Innova] Avery Jenkins Star TeeBird (Tour Series)

Damn you dgcr! I had to order 2 of these. Well at least I can point the finger over here when my wife starts complaining that I buy too much plastic (again). Not that it'll do me much good.

Yes, please do. Avery has always been a class act in my interactions with him. He was an Oregon local for many years and always was approachable at our courses there. BTW those are sum sexy Teebirds.
Hey I'm from Oregon too! :hfive:

On topic though, I wonder how many other pros they are going to do discs for. I like the idea, and I like that Innova is trying to take care of its players. Plus the discs are pretty neat looking.

I can sense a pattern starting with McPro Aviars. They will probably release a fundraiser disc for each of their remaining team members. They have to do something to show more support for their pros to compete with Prodigy. I'm not trying to start a Prodigy thing, but if I got paid to play disc golf I'd be available to the highest bidder.

Just expect a bag staple, or favorite disc, from each of Innovas remaining team members to show up with a custom stamp every 2 weeks until the end of the summer. Why wait 2 weeks you ask? Well, how many people bought Brinster Birds and Anthon Destroyers, and are now cussing DGCR for making their bank account hurt for buying Avery Teebirds? Innova knows how to create demand and how to make it sell by having a limited supply. Just think back a year or 2 about Champion Rocs.

Unfortunately I'm not there at the moment. Have you played Alton Baker yet?
I was also wondering how many people they were going to do this for. These look like they'd be great in my overstable Teebird spot.

Ya! I volunteered to do course maintenance there. The course turned out great, and we have tons of members already. Sorry for thread drift.

We can collect the whole set!

All these new sig discs looked like they were specially molded to fly the way their namesake wanted them to. Except the cunningham wraith. Diod she get jiped or maybe that's what she wanted? As far as i can tell its just a plain old champ wraith with the scooby bus on it.

Why couldn't they have released these with the Anthon Destroyers, I could have just gotten two of each then. These look nice though and I've been meaning to get a few new Star Teebirds..decisions, decisions..

I hear ya, I've been meaning to buy a couple star teebirds as well... This made that purchase pretty simple ha.

I feel like these will all be gone by the end of the day.

Well, Innova got me by the short and curlies on this one. I had to use my...gasp!...credit card to order my two, but I think its worth it. I love Star Teebirds, I love swirly plastic and I like (not love) Avery Jenkins. He has had some issues on tour in the past, but when I got to play with him at Cottonwood he was nothing but cool. Not only did he let me and my buddies play with him (we suck) but he also had no problems giving ia little tips without being overbearing about it. He also ia great at interacting with fans on Twitter...I sent him a picture of ia throwing discs off a hilltop while out doing some Army training (poking fun at his "longest throw ever" video when he threw a disc off Pikes Peak) and he was cool enough to share it and join the joke.

More on disc topic: the last Star Teebird I got had a bit of a moderate dome to it and I aces hole 15 at Phantom Falls with it, so this run sounds like it will be right up my alley..of course, Ai had to order a Brinster Bird while I was at it...

:clap:In for 2 light weights, only 26 left as of my ordering 2 mins ago!

Hoping for the blue swirl/red stamp, (its so pretty!) or the white/red stamp or the yellow stamp.

Stoked, cant wait to get these in my hands. :D

Why do so many people dislike the + mold? I find it to be the most comfortable of the molds. Also they seem to be bit more stable.

These 'birds aren't plus molds. They're supposed to be more stable because of their stiffness and dome.

Kinda wish they had these babies in 150-class. I don't throw 150 class normally, but since I'll be stationed in Korea here soon, I'm hoping to get over to Japan to hit up some tourneys. And I just can't live without Teebirds! Luckily I have an 11x gummy 150 to keep with me...
