Delta Cart

Anyone know if there is a way to buy/replace the knob on the umbrella holder for the Delta?

When I was in the shop - they told me the current umbrella holder is being discontinued, he's working on a better one. I do remember seeing a couple on the shelf in the back - if you call them up and explain they might sell you one.

Hmm… I might just buy a wing nut that fits the bolt that's used. Maybe spray it with PlastiDip.

oh the plastic knob for tightening it - probably your best bet. i didn't get an umbrella holder, maybe if he gets a new model

I bought mine only because I got store credit for buying early before they lowered the price (which they did not have to do...talk about great customer service).

Just joined the club with a blue version. Didn't really care about color, but figured what the heck. I got the bag boy cup holder as well. How big of a drink will it hold?

it should be a standard size cup holder, 2.75" diameter

I figured I would share a couple photos of my cart. I purchased it in October and I got good use out of it for 2 months before the snow fell. The only modifications I have done is the putter pouch (Home Depot tool pouch with the inside gutted out), phone clamp, and a vinyl wrap. I had no problems putting on the vinyl wrap. I took my time and it looks great.

What brand is the phone holder? Think I'm gonna get one like it.

Just picked up an umbrella holder and cellphone mount off of ebay. I am going to head to Home Depot later today to look at "tool belts" that I might be able to convert into a camera pouch.

I had my cart out at Vision Quest on Saturday. It worked almost perfectly. The camera bag I have now clearly was not designed to be strapped against a pole. The only way to secure it was to wrap the shoulder strap many times around the pole at the base. The bag hung long but otherwise seemed okay. Occasionally the very bottom of the bag would scrape against the ground if I tipped the cart too much when I pulled or pushed it. If anything, it was the strap on the camera, hanging out of the bag, that I stepped on two or three times. I want a more vertical bag that can be secured higher up on the pole.

Everything else about the cart worked great.

i just ordered up two of these brackets for about $4 each, then I'll be able to put any bottle cage I want on there. Since there are very limited (and expensive) options for getting a nalgene/32oz Powerade bottle (3.5") I'm going to go with a standard bottle cage. Going to have to change my habits, and buy the smaller bottles of powerade. Or buy the big ones and pour them into smaller bottles. oh well - surprised there aren't more options for putting a nalgene into a bottle cage.

did you have to bend it to get a Nalgene in? I've read they only go out to 3.25" so i decided not to order that one. if i did, i'd get the blue one

I just ordered the 40oz twofish drink holder (for sale @ Delta) at my local bike/disc shop. Might be a tad expensive but they promote and sponsor a few of our tourneys so I'm gonna give some $$ back to them.
