So i was looking at EO pic from instagram and stumbled on a pic of McBeth where his shoes took my attention and soccer player now a thing or two about soccer boots and i was 99% sure that McBeth uses these : http://www.soccerpro.com/Nike-Bomba-II-Turf-Soccer-Shoes-Total-Orange-with-Black-p14289/. Just thought it was worth sharing with you cos these arent that expensive and they are water proof with great grip with durable sole. Some one could try these and give us some in depth thoughts. At finland some people use shoes like these and they are working great at them.

(pic where you can "clearly" see him using these)

I'd bet this is because of the grass tees. I think when he uses concrete tees stateside he rolls with salomons.

yeah,im sure its because of these particular tees. ive seen plenty vids of tourneys at these courses with these tees, when it rains, there is a lot of slipping goin on.

Well they are desinged to be used on that kinda surface so its understandable. But still i didnt see any others wearing these kinda shoes

I know Moser wears football type cleats on courses with natural type tees. I'm also fairly sure I've seen Avery wear cleats.

The grasspads I'm sure make it nice and he's flexible and athletic enough to pull it off. If some of the posters on this board did this with old knees you would get some injuries.

I'm old, and I actually use FootJoy ball golf shoes[with composite cleats] on natural tees. Thought about soccer shoes for awhile, but they hook-up too much---unless the tees are mud.

Big difference in the flexy rubber based plastic spider cleats on a pair of footjoys and the thick nubby soccer cleats. The golf shoe cleats are designed to flex and spin/pivot in the grass but the soccer cleats will not be so easy on the pivot and lateral knee movement.

I've played in a tourney where a guy would change his plant foot shoe depending on tee type. Just slip them on and off, took 5 seconds.

I've worn my Bite soft spike sandals on a course that is really nasty when it comes to mud/slippery grass. I'll just wear my Merrill's now.

yup, tried really short cleats once. hurt me knee alot. but then again i never really played the sports were you wear cleats so i would assume those who at least played cleat sports would be a bit more adept at playing with them.

tried this at a tournament once, P.I.T.A!!! on and off isnt that bad, carrying them around is!

I have used these at soccer at wet grass in rain. I couldnt have any grip what so ever. But i havent tried these at dg so its probably different.
