[Innova] GStar Teebirds

It's a really gummy and grippy version of Star plastic that looks similar to Gold Line.

So far, Leopards, TLs, TeeBirds, Destroyers, Roc3s, and Terns have been run in it.

Blue and purple are the stiffest - yellow and orange are the softest. Red and orange are in between. I have no greens.

Red has the lowest dome but all are flat enough for my satisfaction. Since it doesn't freeze around here, I'm keeping a purple (max), blue (mid), and red (light weight).

Sounds like I made the right choice in ordering Purples then! Most people don't like the too gummy stuff.

is orange soft or in between?

I bagged one each of the GCC gold colored g*ds and the g*tb, both max weight. I wish I had three or four more of each. The destroyer is amazing, slightly more os than a stock *ds, but I think it will break in nice. Maybe to the point of a newer pro ds, hopefully not much more. The g*tb hasn't really impressed me yet, but then again I bag four tbirds so maybe I just need to do some more comparisons before i judge. The gold color is fine in the snow, but I might have to dye them for regular season play. Can't wait for the stock runs of this plastic, it just feels great in the hand.

I noticed it was your first post. I wanted to say welcome, and thanks for the input. I actually throw pro destroyers and I love them. I flick a champ destroyer, but backhand the pro destroyer is the fastest disc I throw, and has an incredible glide, I plan on picking up a g* and trying it eventually. Normally my tb is my go to disc, but you can't beat the dependable fade of the ds, especially with my arm speed.

I have no idea, but my guess would be that they would do great. Star plastic is one of the best for dipping and marbling. Let me know if you try it. Post the results or pm me, I'd be interested in doing some custom dyes on the ones I plan to keep and throw the crap out of. But would hate to wipe the stamp and the dye doesn't take, that would suck.

Thanks for the welcome Romans. I like how it says I am a "newb", maybe I just need to chip in more often.

Please don't dye the GCC gold destroyers or teebirds ... those are currently $60+ in value ... dyeing it would effectively ruin the point of purchasing them at any price

^^^ totally agree with your sense of humor ... I was only being half serious BTW ... I have one of each and they cost a pretty penny, so I wouldn't even consider dyeing them ...
