[Putters] Innova yeti pro Aviar

Yeti is truly straight, it can take some power and ride straight with minimal fade. Softer and grippier plastic, and has a slimmer and sleeker feel to it than a KC Pro.
I only drive and approach with either, I have no feedback on putting.

the yeti is super straight and the plastic is grippier and the kc is pretty overstable to start

I carry them both for approach shots. Like others have said, both will fly straight, but the the Yeti doesn't fade as much at the end. Yeti also seems hold an anny line better, which I like in some tricky approach shots. KC plastic feels a bit firmer and is slicker, while the grippier Yeti plastic will flex just a bit but it's certainly not soft.

I carry both. KC for overstable duties, Yeti for straight/anny lines. Yeti for putting as well. I like the lower shoulder and dome of the Yeti and would use it for everything except it's not overstable enough to start. Thinking about a gstar Aviar driver to replace the KC though.

driving, kc seems to go straighter. but yeti has a nice straight to turn.
putting, kc seems more direct line. yeti has some turn, then fade.

no i'd say same for kc and yeti
well maybe a tinyyy bit worse on yeti since it's concave, although it's really still pretty similar

is the glide worse on the yeti?

In my experience the isn't any worse on the Yeti, perhaps even better at times. That likely was because it was a very beat Yeti against again lightly used KC.

Not much talk here lately about the Yeti. I'm really impressed with mine. Not only is it a great putter, but does very well for approaches. While watching tourney vids recently, I've seen James Conrad throwing the JK Aviar which is very similar to the Yeti. He pulls that thing close to 300'. Not sure what others have experienced with the Yeti, but it is working for me.

I have an awesome feeling JK that is slightly concave and have been tryimg to find a replacement/more, as I like the gritty/grippy feel, but it is starting to wear off, which is makimg me want to find another. I've had 4 and none of the others felt that way. Is it possible to find Yeti's with a wide concavity?

I know that, but how wide?
I'm guessing here since I can't see your disc and I don't throw JK's, but for me the deal with Aviars always was that the best-feeling putting Aviars were older driving Aviars I had where the top would drop. There is a spot about 1" in from the wing where the plastic must thin out, and the whole flight plate drops down at that spot. The Yeti's I have drop at that same spot, so the size of the area that drops is the same. The Yeti's have a more dramatic concave top to them, my putting Aviars had a dropped top but that top is still pretty much flat. The Yeti top droops quite a bit. That never bothered me because the feel where I grip the disc was the same. A Yeti to me felt and flew like a seasoned Aviar out of the box. It has that comfortable drop-top feel and a lot of the fade you get from an new KC Aviar just isn't there.

Yeah that sounds about right. It's like a ThumbTrack for me. I have alternated between putting Rhynos and JK Aviars for 2 years now, and the bottom is the same, so with the collapsed top of the seasoned JKs, I almost feel like I'm putting a seasoned Rhyno. I may have to order some Yeties now.

I've always wondered that...3Putt, does the Rhyno share a wing with the Aviar (X mold I guess?)?

That was always what we thought. The Ching Tank came out at about the same time and it had the same top and a small bead wing, so we thought the Rhyno used the big bead Aviar wing and the Tank had the small bead Aviar wing. Don't quote me, though. I've been wrong before.
