Trilogy does make discs that handle headwinds...harp, sinus, xxx, verdict, trident, enforcer, scythe, giant, stiletto.

I don't know what else you need. It honestly sounds like the OP started raging when he did bad in the wind and over compensated and made this thread to satisfy his rage and not take any responsibility for playing bad.

I never understood why anyone who isn't playing at a high level of open golf (ie 1000+ consistent rating) even considers not having a mixed bag. There is literally no drawback to throwing the best discs each company makes. Why limit your options if there is no tangible benefit to it? To get a slight discount on discs? I mean, if you're deep into disc golf you're buying the stuff you like discount or not.

That being said, there should be enough stuff in the lat/ws/dd lineup that can fight the wind properly. Even still, it's not like you need to have super overstable stuff to be able to play well in the wind anyway.

I think it's for real though...

Never gonna give you up? That's solidarity right there.

I think their line up is solid between the 3 companies. You can build a very nice bag. What theyre missing is a firebird equiv (mostly talking about the speed) and a PD equiv. the saint, saint pro and escape are decent but they do not start out anywhere near as OS as a PD. I feel that theyre solid replacements for PDs in certain stages of wear, but part of what makes the PD awesome is the LSS it retains as it wears. Makes it a very versatile disc.

we all got together last night after seeing this post, had some kool-aid, did some chanting and put this together for you in in the hopes that you'd re-consider.

That is a link to the TT theme song that just so happens to be performed by Rick Astley.

Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

This had to have been a false flag attack on The Team Trilogy (TTT) by one of their loyal agents, in hopes that we'd all extol the wonders of The Trilogy's wind resistant lineup. Suckers playing suckers for suckers.

It's easy in any hobby to get caught up in the hardware. I am a geek about it and have usually kept up with what is trending. In disc golf it is very easy to accumulate surplus plastic due to realatively low cost. I like the challenge of going at familiar holes with different discs and throwing styles. I play with some who throw the same disc on a hole every time. Different strokes...

That said the current market is super-saturated. Only way to grab market share is to come out with NEW or BETTER discs/plastics.

XXX is a wider diameter firebird

Don't fix anything for me, you have no idea what you are talking about. So if I shoot consistently on a course that isn't my home course, I will lose? Ha! Ask the top pros what happens when they shoot consistently on ANY course, not just their home course.

I am not disagreeing that consistency will increase your chances of winning. You said that he should throw the same shot on the same hole every time because that will make him consistent; I disagree with this. This may make him more consistent on those holes but how does it help him on courses that are new to him? The consistency of the pros has nothing to do with familiarity, I believe most pros will tell you that consistency comes from field work.
