Hi,
I am throwing sidewinder as small gap thumber disc up to 70 meters. Latest sidewinder is not working as it used to do. It might be because my old sidewinder was really beat before i started to beat this new one. Well anyway i am using Halo as little longer thumber disc up to 85 meters and XXX to around 100m. I might as well get the shortest disc from trilogy family, because sidewinder is not what it used to be. Of course thumber is not working like backhand throw so flight characteristics might be other than sidewinders in "normal" throwing styles. Requirements: trilogy, fast barrel roll with thumber and tomahawk in small space under 70 meters. Any suggestions?

I've been liking the Fury myself. Can't say I've ever thrown a tommy/thumber with it though.

I find the hatchet to be similar to sidewinder for rhbh throws but can't say I've ever compared them for overhand shots.

Hatchet and not because that just sounds good to throw a tomahawk with. I don't usually throw them like that but just the other day I was playing and needed a thumber to get out of a tough spot. I had my TP Hatchet and it was super hot and we were all just trying to finish the round and get out of there. Instead of walking to my bag to get another disc I just threw the thumber with the hatchet. It barrel rolled very quick and planted. I'd say it's the closest to a sidewinder you will find just more glide. The TP plastic for me is easier to flip and get it to hold. So if your sidewinder was beat up I'd go with TP plastic.

Fury .. for sure the Fury ... i thew Star Sidewinders for years and years and when i tested some Trilogy plastic (for like a week lol ) the Fury covered the same exact lines for me .. very nice disc and sneaky long .. others.. maybe the Hachet, Vision, etc.. there are plenty of options but out the box i would say Fury

Hatchet for sure. It flies straight for me even brand new.

The last couple runs of visions have been more overstable than before and the numbers would make you think. The fury and hatchet fly pretty much the same but feel different and have different wing shapes.

Nolan, it's pretty sad you have to seek out every thread about a lat64 made disc simply to add some lame little quip. It does nothing but make you look like a sad and desperate fellow. If you're trying to get that truth across to everyone you're a success. This is at least the fifth one in the last couple days you can be found adding absolutely nothing. We get it. You hate everything but yourself and what you deem to be good.

Renegade comes to mind... Maybe the current Northman. Regular Saint beats into something like a Sidewinder.

Why not? You do the same thing in MVP threads. I don't throw foreign plastic (not as foreign for you, OP, I know) so I can't help you with your main requirement. But I would recommend trying out a Mongoose at some point. That disc killed Sidewinders for me, and has an awesome stamp to boot.

Its pretty sad that you feel the need to scold people when they're trying to have a little fun.

We get it. You love Latitude and all the affiliated companies.

Really? Show me. I haven't posted or read an mvp thread that I can remember since the icon mini came out. Which I use. Now if you pull up any Lat64 thread on this page and on into probably about the third page you'll find him adding nothing. Like the air plastic thread he adds this little gem of nothing.

There is no reason to throw plastic that light in this country.

I don't throw MVP so I don't have answers to questions about MVP discs. So I don't read or reply unless I do have something constructive to add.

So your comparison is unfounded and completely off. I get it. You, him, DanJon, and others have your little hatred for their company and anyone who enjoys them. That doesn't mean you have to repeat it over and over and add nothing of substance to threads about products you don't use or like.

Watch out for flying discs, bro.

I'll be in the watercooler next. You know, so you don't have to keep seeking me out. I'll just let you know ahead of time.

There's a very little bit of truth here. So, one funny for you.

I saw more Trilogy on my trip to Colorado than I do in most places. They are doing well there. Must be those Trilogy Challenge events.

I throw quite a bit myself, including the VIP Hatchet. I would agree it's like a champ sidewinder.
