Looking forward to trying this one out-- sounds like it should be available early September.

I believe this is a Da'E by Yikun with a different name. Their partnership seems to be rebranding of Yikuns molds. Beefy disc for sure. Flies between and Xcal & Destroyer from my testing.

You are slightly off base on the alliance. Salient and Yikun have a combination of cobranding, re-tooling and new discs/plastic blends being released. Therefore some discs may have some Yikun tooling for the interim for testing the market but will have some combination of Salient aided plastic blends/tooling and stamps.

Btw we gave John E two different discs to choose from and he decided on a the speed 13 version which is beefy. You will also notice that the Liquid plastic is harder than our current Liquid Line but not too soft. In the future all alliance discs will have a harder feel but all non alliance discs will have our softer version of liquid plastic.

Either way pick one up and help support John E McCraybon his touring efforts. He's deserved this kind of support for a long time and we are happy we can help him out.

Excited to try it, I really like my dragon line Da'E if it's like that disc and JohnE is behind it's totally worth a try.

If the plastic really is a tick stiffer that's fine, sounds kind if like a Phoenix line by Yikun which is a really solid plastic.

Someone should show kilgus how to upload a bit faster...

A Purple Reign! That is just too good.

I have to get one now!

Yikun dictates the molds salient uses and salient has the option of changing the feel of the plastic before rebranding???

Get a blank one and do it up with a Prince dye!

What is the country of origin of the Salient molds?

Are you molding some here and getting blanks for some molds from them or they your manufacturer/supplier?

Fantastic idea! I have a great old rolling stone image of him that I could make a dye from. The stock fire house stamp is pretty sweet too though.

just fyi, i've been throwing lots of Yikun plastic (phoenix and dragon lines, not tiger yet) molded in china and every single one of them has been top quality. no problems whatsoever.

Yikun makes great molds and we concur. We are happy with the partnership we have with them!!
