DGCR Aces 2015

Sweet baby Jesus, probably one of the longest to ever take to get a first ace on this site, but finally got one today.
Lobdell Reserve, 239ft #14. Kastaplast K1 Kaxe.

It's OK I play real courses too. Not everyone is lucky enough to do that...

It's true, some of us are not lucky enough to play real courses as much as they'd like. Congrats, hyzer shot?

Blue Ribbon Pines hole #23. Short Position, think it's like 177 feet. It's slightly uphill and tight left to right line. Threw a RHBH Fuzion Judge on a 3 degree anny with wind Left to Right and crashed dead center. Makes 21 aces on the year.

BRP. Same hole, did a turnover shot with my beat Medium Pure. Then next round another Ace with my fresh Retro Pure on hole 9. That one I added a half degree of hyzer and let it drift in. 23 aces on the year.

Dude what courses do you play? Sounds like they Wouldn't have to move the pads for an ace race?! Anyway 23 aces in a year that's impressive.

Yeah all the holes are in the shorts for winter at Blue Ribbon, I also get out to Zimmerman and Ham Lake a bunch. Most holes are under 3 bills so lots of ace chances.

Yeah, he makes me feel like I am slacking with only 7...

Sitting at 9, but I play I a lot of shorter courses during the school year due to proximity. When I am not teaching during the summer, I purposely hit up the bigger courses, so naturally I expect a lull there. Happens every year. Yet this fall with me back to playing almost exclusively Eagles, Hutchinson, Montrose, and Independence, I was expecting to get back on the train. It has not been happening recently and the drought has been noticeable. I have hit metal at least twenty times since the last ace, and at the four courses I listed above (and a few rounds at Acorn and Kaposia sprinkled in) there are definitely aceable holes. I have even claimed a few metals on longer, more difficult holes as well, but nothing is sticking.

Just got my first FH ace yesterday.

On a hanging homemade basket too.

Lost my #1 tag on the last hole by one stroke though.

Well damn, after the longest drought ever I've gotten my second ace in three weeks.
Belmont DGC, 236ft #4, Star Leopard.
I had jumped over a few holes cause of big groups and started on #4, so this was actually my first throw of the day, too.

My first California ace! They made me pay 2$ as a course walk-on at Skyline Wilderness Park, then I made basket #10 pay me an ace. My weapon of choice was a 156 Champion Panther thrown on a slight anny line to the (A) pin position

Ham Lake DGC Hole 14. TI Stalker (I just traded for, hehe) RHBH. Hole is under 200 ft? It is a tight low hyzer. Aced it back to back rounds like a week ago. Was pretty fricken sweet!

BRP Hole 25. Fuzion Judge RHBH. Straight at it, again hole is 200 ft? That was around the same time, about a week ago.

So 26 on the year.

That super tight tunnel shot along the lake is 14 right? Been hunting that damn basket for years! Nice ace there even being short you need that near perfect line.
