As many people know. Texas is flooding. Several courses have had pics posted on different Facebook communities. So here is a thread dedicated to that. Ideally course name, location and a few pics here and there.
Pic included is from Gordon lake, in Iowa park, Texas. This was 4 days ago. I'm about to post a pic of the new river that now covers the hole

Yea it's been crazy around here too, I have no course pics but where I live there was a house that was literally carried to the other side of the street and dumped.

Trophy club

Found this one today courtesy of Joel Davis from the azle disc golf club. It's trophy club hole 11. It's a good thing this is an elevated basket

Nothing like a gulley-washer to get the rattlesnakes antsy, too. Just had some good rains in the Cascades, so the start of wildfire season is holding off for a few more weeks.

I was just talking to my brother who lives out there and he was complaining about it. I am supposed to be going out there in 2 weeks. I hope it dries out a little by then.

Our local wooded course had to get a bridge rebuilt due to one storm which scraped the landscape clean. 4 railroad ties were AWOL. Our other course is a swamp. Not unplayable, but several holes require alt teeboxes . We had a tree partially uproot and endanger hole 10, so we have to relocate that one until the tree is either removed or shored up somehow.

Got an email concerning AM Worlds Doubles , and in the email they pleaded ," Whoever is praying for rain , please stop".

The Nac Open is going to be interesting, all three of their courses turn swampy in some way or another when it rains. Pioneer and Pecan resemble the everglades after even a moderate shower, I hate to see what they are now.

I think this rules out Trophy Club for Monday. If the water is that high at the pin, the tee box must be under water.

Courtesy of dynamic disc lewisville. This was 10 days ago and we have got even more rain in dfw.

Your brother and I played in McKinney yesterday. I played barefoot so I could just wade through the puddles (small ponds) in the fairways and around the baskets. It was surprisingly fun.

My Axiom Envy ricocheted into the creek that was running fast. Gone. Your bro lost one of his drivers too.

Welp, been good knowing you TX folks. Looks like you are about to become part of the gulf.

Disc Gulf Mecca?! Seriously looks terrible though from what I've seen and hope no one has lost much more than their local course for the time being.

This is what happens down here. The drought has broken and it usually does so with floods. Now that everything is green and growing fast, "normal" weather patterns should return for a decade or so and it's paradise. :D

Has anyone played Lester Lorch since all this rain? Or Crossroads? We were thinking of driving out there tomorrow. Or Z Boaz, but I can't imagine that is playable with all the low spots near the creek it already has.

I haven't been to Lester Lorch or Crossroads, but I'd bet Crossroads would be in the best shape. The little creek along the first three holes drains really well and the hills on the rest of the course would probably keep it in good shape.

The pond, if flooding, would make Beaver #9 a water carry to a very narrow fairway. (about 200 feet or so). Snakes would be up out of the flooding, so be careful if you go out there. Coyote would be in good shape though. Just the expected mud.

This is zboaz 14. Last week during the open. It has rained eve more. If your local you know that it's usually about 2 feet deep. It's probably a solid 10-12 feet deep now.
