Lets face it, Legacy's Enemy is going to be a great mold with how the Rico's take their time testing...so why not give it some love. It's been mentioned in some other threads but needs it's own. Does anybody know anymore about this yet? Saw the test video but wondering if any updates since that...

The test video was kind of a joke seeing how overstable the first prototypes ended up.. i heard rumors of adding more glide and a bit less beef, im hoping for a jolly champ firebird flight.

If they can duplicate the feel/flight of my old Firebirds in some sweet Pinnacle plastic, I might just ditch another classic Innova mold for Legacy. I'm still bagging an old CE and an 11X that have been in my bag for 10+ years, right now I dread the day I need to replace one/both of those with something new.

I have 3 firebirds in the bag at the moment, seeing as they are aiming at replacing the firebird (for the team legacy guys who carry them) im highly anticipating and expecting a solid replacement here from Legacy, they didnt let me down with the Outlaws and i cant wait for the Enemy.

Looks like a speed 7-8 fairway driver then right? I'm hoping its got just a bit more speed/distance than the firebird.

If anyone gets a hold of one of the prototypes I think everyone would love to a get a picture of the profile.

Well the whole Team Legacy crew will be here in Madison, WI this weekend, i will try my best to sneak some pictures :p

To my knowledge they are up to a 3rd prototype. When i talked to Rico at Mad City he said AT LEAST 4-5 prototypes before he approves it ready. The first proto was ultra flat and super overstable beefy, the second was closer to a firebird in stability but domey with a lot of glide. The third one i saw posted in a video on facebook looked like a good mix between the first two.

They are shooting for 11x Firebird type of flight.

Cool, thanks for the info! Then I guess we have to wait a couple of weeks or months before a release :) What does the 11x version really indicate?

Nice solid overstability, but not faf manbird almost useless overstable is what I would guess their looking for.

faf is what Rico said he wanted so its going to be flat for sure, forget what he said was wrong with the first prototype but i think the PLH was just too high on top of being so flat made it a tank. I liked the second proto when i threw it though because it had a big dome but still beefy it was different from anything out there.

The ones i threw are different from firebirds i have in the bag in that they go into the fade harder and cut down quicker once they hit the tipping point, a firebird will fade hard but it gets some lateral movement during the fade.. if anything that makes the Enemy easier to predict laterally and distance wise.. but less distance potential overall. I dont use my firebird for distance, only spike hyzer placement shots and forehand upshots when i need the predictability.

How does this work? Aren't the molds crazy expensive? I just don't understand how this fine tuning works. ????
