He should have just hung it out over the lake...

...Its not like the water could be more contaminated...:gross:

My last word on "timegate" (can we be like ESPN and call every controversy ____gate?) is that remember the difference, it's not whether he was right or wrong about McBeth taking more than 30 seconds - it's that he didn't call it but continued to chirp. That's where people are taking an issue. If he had called it, he would have still been...harsh...but technically within his right to serve McBeth with a warning.

Yes I do say! :gross:

I haven't seen a single post about the lack of porta potties at Fountain. I'm assuming there were none, or not enough. Can anyone who was there verify?

there is a bathroom near tournament HQ(hole 16 tee is the closest, thats when paul ran to it) and there is one porta potty on hole 8. thats it. There isnt a single place to piss on that course, its wide open and there are tons of spectators and other people walking around, even during casual rounds. 1 porta potty for alot of players + hundreds of spectators

It's just not funny when a group of adults picks on a 13-yr-old kid and humiliates him publicly. Most people know that, and would have vetoed the plan before it ever got close to happening.

I don't know cupcake personally, but saw(and heard him) alot this week. From what I saw I would have expected him to take it alot better than he did, and turn around and talk to terry full of cupcakes lol. He's a character for sure, not just some average kid.

There were porta potties near hole 1, 5, and 10's tee. With the pace of play out there it is very reasonable to need to run to the restroom at the point Paul did.

Hmmm. Little bit of conflicting info here. Either way, it doesn't sound like there were enough.

Oh, and way to represent MVP, Graham! Everyone ignored your post about how you did, in the midst of all the other talk. Good luck in your future tourneys this year.

It looked like he may have gotten some in his eye, or you could be right.

It was his birthday for cryin out loud, and he's a 13 yr old kid. Not a teammate.

I saw a kid who is obviously cared for by a lot of people and they celebrated him on his birthday. I have no ill judgement of the folks involved in that.

I do think ill of some folks on here making tempests in tiny teapots.

Nice showing dude. -20 while throwing from a standstill? With stomach issues day 2? And with one of the best fields in the game? Congrats!

Nope, I offered congrats before posting about the JohnE embarrassment.

Speaking of embarrassing, more so than McBeth's judgement with Cupcakegate, is everyone's internet reactions to all this. I think JohnE should pack it in, and is a bad role model for the game, but the idea he or McBeth's behavior is going to sink the various tours is ridiculous. What will sink it is the fact that the only people watching and commenting are the same ones as ever, and there is no media/popular awareness outside of this closed loop.

I wonder what JohnE's sponsors think of his behavior... Maybe it will help him get a signature disc. What should it be called?

McCray Wants to Fault McBeth over Time Violation at Memorial

Memorial 2016, Finals, Hole 16, McBeth goes to the restroom and takes 48 seconds to return. McCray starts counting up to 30 seconds and then says "DOES ANYONE NOT KNOW THE RULES, IT'S MY TURN, RIGHT?" Then references a time back in 06' when he was late to World's and didn't get a warning.

Time: 2:01:00 mark, turn up the volume.

It's interesting how sensitive people get when they are under pressure. You wouldn't think someone would care that McBeth went to the restroom when they, themselves, took well over 30 seconds to throw their drives multiple times, including other card mates who took well over a minute to execute shots throughout the weekend.

The Salty Dog.

Pirate themed me hartys. Yarrrrrr.

Welcome back Holly. You're a little late with this though. We've already eaten it up and pooped it out.

At these big events it should be standard to have a portable facility every six holes. With signs saying 'For Players & Staff Only'.

I see no issues with the cupcakes. The issues I see are adults trying to encourage this safe zone bubble victim crap. I think cupcake took it better than most of you, and even if he didn't at the time it will most likely be something he can look back and laugh about. I guarantee they will remain friends through this.
