World's final nine last year, he acted like he didn't want to be there. I wonder how much of Saturday's act was just that his chance of winning was gone and the old man just wanted it to end. Not wait on mcpeepants.

what tantrum at USDGC? He got eaten a live by a hole that does that to top pros every year.
He was actually quite a good sport about the whole thing and kept his composure walking up the 18th fairway (and still ended up in a playoff if i remember correctly).
We have no clue what it's like to perform in that environment. I dont excuse how he acted but Im not going to write him off. We have world champs crying on video after every missed putt or bad shot in 2015 but Im not going to judge him either as I havent ever been (and wont ever be) in that situation. I see an huge difference from 2015 to 2016 already in that individual. Hopefully Johne can learn from this and grow as well. Maybe not..but we should be willing to give him another chance(s). Just my opinion

He seemed super irritated with the crowd all day and was relatively vocal about it. I think it was another case where he hit a spectator that set it off (Hole 5 second shot maybe?). Plus the typical old man ranting/mumbling/etc afterwards. Seems to be his MO when things don't go his way.
I just remember it standing out and being a bit surprising to see somebody act that way at such a high profile event.

oh ok...Im not familiar with that situation. I remember admiring the way he handled 17 ..especially the way he didnt cry and moan and thstayed focused enough to get into the playoff.
I wasnt there though so I will take your word for it. Sucks if this is his MO
