Hey all,

So I have looking around for a driver to fit in between my Destroyer and my Teebird. Something that is a 9/10 speed and a pretty straight flyer. I have not had much luck filing this gap. Does not necessarily have to be innova, I am open to all manufacturers.

What medium speed distance driver do you like to throw/recommend?

Innova- Thunder bird. Go dx beat it straight, or if wanted OTB go Pro.
Trilogy- Escape. underestimated disc. I think its a 10 speed. As a innova head its like a T bird with Distance and glide like a Wraith

Maybe a Roadrunner/Sidewinder or Valk would go pretty straight for most. If you are throwing and Used to Ds im shure the ThB would be a good fit

Roadrunner/Sidewinder are a little understable for my liking, I've heard really good things about the PD, but have not had a chance to throw it yet. Also throw a few thunderbirds a few years ago, I thought they were just okay.

SPD, thunderbird, valk.

I'm sure there are great options from other companies that I'm not familiar with.

I pair a lighter fission tesla which is slightly US with max wt neutron/proton/plasma (doesnt matter all fly the same really) and then a seasoned one which is very straight.

Tesla just handles wind a little more vs volts and skip a little better on low lines with a touch more LSS.

I guess it depends on your power and throwing style, but I like the;
Escape
Viking
CD-2

I throw LHBH, and can get my Destroyer 425-450' and Teebird 360-375'
I like discs with minimal HST and reliable fade.

thinking about grabbing a PD. Have not thrown much Discmania though, is S/G plastic = Champ/Star?

S is star, G is Gstar. The C pd is more of a wind fighter/straight to fade disc. S and G are straighter with more glide and less dump at the end.

Then my first suggestions probably won't work.
PD
Avenger
Starfire
Thunderbird
Might be worth a look then

I'd say get a Pd. I have a cline a sline and 2p lines in the bag. The cline is meathookish, sline is straight with fade. One p line is seasoned and stays straight. Other pline is beat and turns right

S-PD is also a very good option. And will feel automatically comfortable if you throw Firebirds.

I use an Escape between the Destroyer and TeeBird. Handles power well and has a predictable fade but will turn up to flat with some pow.
