[Dynamic] Dynamic Discs: SLAMMER

Just got mine. It's a taller and blunter suspect with a thumbtrac. The thumbtrac feels just like the Pig's thumbtrac. About to go throw it!

Definitely OS. In the Harp/Zone category for sure.

I found extremely HSS like a Zone (didn't throw it into wind), but not as much fade. I could FH it full power and not worry one bit.

It was kind of interesting to me. If I threw it flat and full power, it would actually glide straight for a bit before dumping off. But when I threw it on a hyzer, it would just drop to the ground. I never threw a zone, but I would say it's very similar to a harp.

Yeah that sounds about right. In comparison I'd say that a premium plastic Zone will actively get into the fade portion of the flight while still at speed...it will bank instead of just dumping and hit the ground with some steam, kind of like a Firebird. In the few throws I had the Slammer seems more all around useful (capable of straighter shots) while the Zone is a bit more specialty until it's worked in.

Anyone else enjoying this disc as much as me? It's exactly what I was hoping for, slow, OS and basically no skips. It just sits where you put it. For me, it pairs great with the Justice, since the Justice loves to skip but the slammer just sits.

Really hoping for a Lucid slammer eventually.

Ok so today is finally the day of the production release! Who's getting one?

Here is a look at the limited edition Slammer from Infinite Discs.

So I'm here in Emporia for the GBO. Lucid Slammers and moonshine Slammers are available here at the DD store. So hopefully they will be in normal production soon.

I live in southwest Missouri. I went to the tournament last year. Is the rain in Emporia as bad as it is in Missouri right now? It's the worst I've ever seen it around here.

Can't really say. It's not down pouring and I know from watching the weather that there is some serious flooding in Missouri.

Got to test out my Classic Slammer today for a bit and I was pleasantly impressed. I'm a Scale thrower, so the thumbtrack and bead are a welcome feel. The flight was like a bit longer Scale with a tick more overstability. Thrown flat, it shows zero turn and has a very straight flight with a decently strong finish. Give it some air and you'll get a very nice right to left movement. Even with my meager forehand I was getting it out to 200' with no problem and a nice, strong hyzer finish. I don't think it's quite to Harp OS, but it definitely reminds me of a Zone's flight.

I've pulled out the Justice for the Slammer. No, the Slammer isn't anywhere hear as OS as a Justice, but it's equally as predictable.

would this be a Trilogy replacement for my Pig? the thumbtrack looks similar

anyone know how the feel/flight pattern compare?
