Time for this thread again.

Accomplishments should accentuate the positive highlights
Goals can be pretty dreamy

I am lame and just sticking to disc golf related.

2017:
-built from mix, donated, and installed several heavy concrete based benches at two local courses. Fun and learned new skills in the process. Flew under the flag of Becky Zallek Disc Golf Foundation.. PDGA HOF # 9388
-played in a couple super awesome non sanctioned tourneys
-improved max bh distance and consistent placement a solid 30 feet
-had a glow best shot doubles round where my partner and I threw down a monster eyebrow raising score.

2018:
-a few more benches. Got some back stock. Travel and donate a couple on out of town roadtrips
-at least 6 event tourneys
-drop into 'commoners' leagues and weekly rounds more than in 2017
-camp more than in 2017
-vastly improve my right and left handed forehand accuracy beyond 225. It is my super major game fault and separates me from a solid challenge at top card to the best players in my age group. (45)
-work towards forming an Amenities subgroup in regard to existing area courses and a new challenging terrain course coming soon. (Dream of some pavilions, improved signage, and pathway upgrades in many places happening in an organized legit fashion)

2017:
-Injury-free, from March on, after 2 1/2 years with an incessant string of injuries and health issues. Though the verdict is out on my knee, after walking into a sofa this week and possibly damaging it again.
-Attended the Director's Cup, and event that quite possibly sprung from my own suggestion, which I'd missed all but 1 day of its history due to scheduling issues or the aforementioned injuries. It was great.
-And, for that matter, played in any tournaments at all, after a 1 1/2 year layout due to those injuries. It felt good, results notwithstanding.
-Completed 2 new holes at Stoney Hill and renumbered one of the overlapping layouts, so that now the numbering system will make sense to visitors.

2018:
-Recover some of the distance that I lost during a 7-month layoff. I had precious little to begin with, so like a poor person robbed of rent money, I really miss every little bit that's gone.
-The list for improvements at Stoney Hill is too long for this forum. Construction of a couple more holes would be high on it, though.

2017
- Win the year's series vs my brother (currently lead 10-9)
- Play 50 unique courses (currently at 44; gonna be close)
- Made the lead card of the only tournament I got to play
- Found out the town parks director wanted to build a DGC; helped preferred town board candidates get elected; got appointed to the parks and rec advisory board

You know, that 5th item for 2018 is going to be a drag on the first 3.

On the bright side, the first 3 won't seem nearly as important.

Ah, I left out of my 2018 goals, getting the renumbering system (from the 2017 accomplishments) to take root in my brain.

From last year:
2017:
Play five PDGA tournaments (FAIL - only played one)
Win a monthly (Won two)
Shoot under par in the 27-hole monthly (best is 6 over) (sort of fail - my best is now 1 over)
Not buy so many discs/stop endless micro-managing of my bag composition (I did stop the endless micro-managing of my entire bag, now just micro-manage a couple of slots)
Play 15 new courses (including DeLa) - (partial fail: 12 new courses, not DeLa)
(Baseball) Have a much better year hitting than 2016 - get back to 2015 form (had an incredible year pitching, including a four-hit shutout in a national tournament. Hitting started coming around late in the year but overall was another down year)

2018:
-Bag another 10 new courses, including DeLa
-Under par in my 27-hole monthly
-Play more weeklies at Oak Grove with the Delta Windjammers
-Play three PDGA tournaments
-(Baseball) pitch as well as last year, hit like it's 2015.

2017:
Ran my first PDGA Tournament
Increased my rating by 50 points, but still nowhere near where I want it to be
So far played 48 courses total, I want to get to 50, but most likely not going to happen
Became a Bronze Trusted Reviewer

Non-DG, I got my driver's license and a job, so more disc golf and fun!

Get to 910 rated, at 878, but most of my rounds are at around 900 now.
Play 10 PDGA tournaments
Play 30 new courses
Play in 3 more states
Increase driving distance by 30 feet, to around 350.
Get my putting accuracy to much better from everywhere in the circle. No excuses for how bad it is now.

2017 goals:
Get a proper wetsuit and immunizations for safer stagnant pond diving. YES. Many discs have gone home to their owners. :D
Sweep all nine tournaments in the Maverick Series in Advanced Women: YES. Nine for nine, undefeated. :D
Finish the year rated 850: NEAR-MISS, at 847. :|
Get onto some kind of team: FAIL. :\
Get a factory sponsorship: BZZZZZZZZZZZT. NO. :(

2018:
Beat the snot out of every sponsored player I encounter: :wall:
