MVP Feedback Thread - We would love to hear from you.

I'd like to be able to get every model of disc I throw at 165 g. I don't have any MVP mids because I can't get them at 165 g.

I'd love to be able to get all of my discs in blaze orange. Most of my discs are red or pink, now, because I can find those colors. I quit throwing proton discs because the translucent red is too difficult to see.

I putt with an Omega SS. Were MVP to produce a really flexible putter--a floppy Atom, let's say--I'd be all over it. Seriously. I also have a Vibram mid in XLink Soft; I seriously like really flexible discs for sticking landings.

Right now, my bag is MVP for approach putters, fairway drivers, and control drivers. My actual mids are Vibram and my main putter is Millennium; I'd love to have MVP options for those roles.

I like MVP and Axiom putters. My main putter is the Anode and I bag the Ion and Envy for upshots and headwinds. A really beefy putter would be nice. I carry a Sinus in that slot now.

I used to have an Axis and a Vector. Both were a little too heavy. I really liked the lines I could get with the Axis, but when I lost them I couldn't find lighter (around 170-172g) weights, so I no longer have any MVP mids.

I had a Volt for a short time, but someone offered to by it with only a handful of tosses and I let him have it. I don't really know anything about your drivers. I'm an older player and I like drivers in the 160 to 170g range.

I've never seen one of your bags or baskets. Apparently, MVP isn't a big player in Texas. Besides me throwing your putters, I don't see much of your stuff down here in the DFW area. Could be the group I compete with, but we travel around a lot. I haven't seen much of your clothing either. As mentioned a lot before and as you can imagine with the heat we get down here, cotton is king.

New neutron stamp for mvp molds. Ive never seen grey axiom rims? That would be cool. Make proton more opaque. So the bland colors right now actually can be seen on the flightplate. eg of colors that are bland: pink, blue, lightblue, purple, yellow, red.

Yo - I wanted to talk with you about MVP, Axiom, and Streamline.

We are always trying to improve our products and push the sport forward, and we would love to hear from you.

  • What would you like to see next? (Yes, we know about the OS Mid/Puttersoon™

Hey I already answered but how about a wide diameter deeper Envy kind of a super lid? I would love to see that even an ultimate disc there has to be some money in that.

If you like this idea you should consider making me a tester... I am a fervent supporter since I bought my first Ion directly off Brad.

Love the discs, otherwise I wouldn't have a bag entirely composed of MVP/Axiom.

I like the plastics, particularly the soft blends, and the eclipse. The soft blends, like soft neutron putters, grip incredibly well for me. If I could get every disc in my bag in soft, I most likely would. I carry a first run Wrath, Insanity and Fireball partially because of the soft blend they were released in, compared to the stiffer neutron teslas I threw prior to the Wrath.

I would really like to see more molds offered in soft, eclipse, or ideally soft eclipse. I like the look of classic MVP discs - black rim and single color core....but eclipse are so easy to find, and so easy to see when filming videos.

Rim feel is good. There has only been one rim that I didn't find very comfortable, and that was the Clash. I can throw it fine, but I'd bag a Servo over one for ergonomics alone. Many of MVP's / Axioms molds are very comfortable for me to grip....Particle, Proxy, Volt, Wrath, Crave....these all feel great.

I always prefer flat discs. Always. I like how they feel in my hands better. With the Vector in particular, I notice a big difference in feel between my flat ones and my domey Vectors.

What would you like to see next?

Obviously there is a big demand for a putter or mid in the zone / drone / credo / stego realm. I'd certainly give one a shot if it were noticeably more OS than my Particles and Vectors.

As I mentioned earlier I'd like to see soft plastics and eclipse plastics available in more molds, especially soft eclipse. IIRC, only two molds, Ion and Anode, are currently offered in Soft E.

I think all putters and mids should be offered in different Electron blends.

I could see some more slow fairway drivers, like a Relay OS, fleshing out the line-up.

Can't think of any holes in the line-up these days aside from aggressively overstable mids and putters. You guys have nailed moderately overstable slow discs with stuff like the Ion, Envy, Particle, Vector etc., but I want to see an Envy core disc with the flight path of the Energy :D

Have not tried the bags yet. One of these days I'll order a beaker to try. A lot of courses here don't warrant a backpack sized bag, so it'd get a lot of use.

Soft electron putters are pretty dang flexible after a bit of wear. I'm all about soft putters too, I approach with a Soft Proxy.

Whoops, one other thing:

I have a Black Hole practice basket. The cap on top of the pole flies off whenever I hit it with a putt. If this part gets lost water will get into the pole, which is probably not good.

A more sturdily-attached pole cap would be much better.

Does yours not screw into the pole? Mine does, it can't come loose even if the basket falls over.

Yo mikeC, you get them to make a resistor style relay class disc and i'll give you that sparkle resistor, lol...

I have soft electron putters. They're just nowhere near as flexible as the Omega SS or the Vibram XLink Soft. Lordy, if I could get an overmold as flexible as one of those models that flies like an Innova Aero, I'd buy a stack in a heartbeat.

It is more like a plug than a screw-in. I don't putt very hard but any time I hit the cap it flies off. :\

I just moved from DFW last week. There were at least 3 of us in my group who threw MVP/Axiom almost exclusively. A few more people I played with had at least an Envy, and others had 4-5 MVP in their bags.

Apparently the group of old guys that play different courses every week in the DFW area missed seeing you. Most steer clear of us anyway. I don't know why. I suppose it's because we're minding our business.
