$10 off for this blemish haha wait til I throw it a couple times! :D

Played a round at Seneca Creek (woods course) with 2 Cosmic Neutron Waves and 2 G* Roadrunners as my only drivers. 158 grams for both (my usual driver weight). G* Roadrunners have a ridiculous amount of glide. :)

First impression: Cosmic Neutron Wave starts out a notch more stable than regular Neutron. Noticeably more fade, a bit harder to turn, a bit less distance. This is pretty much what I had hoped. :)

It will be interesting to see how the Cosmic Neutron Wave seasons.

Music to my ears! I have a 165 cosmic on the way. Assuming it ever actually gets here....usps sent it from Florida to San Francisco. I live in Wisconsin. Anyways.....I wanted a stable compliment to my plasma wave. Hoping this fits the bill. Otherwise, I'll be looking at a photon or something along the lines.

I just got mine today and on the table it looks more stable than my Plasma Wave. Now I will go and test if the looks holds true.

Test run is done now and my assumption was wrong. This new 166g SE fission Wave is less stable and more touchy than my Plasma. I don't really need a driver that understable, so it's not going in my bag.
A nice looking disc tho.

Also tested a fresh 166g Elaine King Fission Photon against my plasma Photon.
The King's edition has a slightly lower parting line, but is way more domy than my plasma. When thrown its more stable and glidier than the Plasma. In to a slight headwind it holds a straight line like a champ! I like it. I like it a lot! This is going to be my new go to distance driver in a headwind.
Also worth noting that a feel of this King's Fission plastic seems more similar to plasma than to fission - which I also like. A very nice disc indeed.
Hopefully the incoming CN Photon SE will be even more stable than this King's. Then I will have a complete set of Photons I love.

That was my fear. I wanted to try both new plastics out. I love my plasma wave, but past experience has told me fission can be flippier. I really don't need something more flippy than my plasma. I ordered a cosmic Neutron that should *hopefully* be here today. If it is, I might get to test it out this weekend.

My last years go to disc was a plasma wave. Sold it afterwards as it didn't fit my game that well anymore.

Bought a pair of Fission Waves when they became available. A 166g and a 161g. Both of them have a nice late flip in them. They definitely have more lateral movement than my Plasma had. The 161g felt a bit light for my liking and I traded it to a 173g (haven't tested it yet). At first I wasn't sure what slot in my bag these would fill, but then it hit me. The Fission Wave was the perfect replacement for my AvengerSS. The wave has more distance potential and gives a new flight path to my bag.

I'm so happy that I gave them a fair chance before throwing them on the shelf. Now I have a cosmic Wave coming to see if they can bring even more stability.

I'm going to have to try a fission too. Maybe two. One sub 155 and one heavy.

Thanks for all the input on the fission waves folks!!! Just what I was hoping to hear.. :D I'm betting hard on that 150 fission wave! (If not the 157 or 164 fission. Count them, that will make 8! Waves haha ha ha)

Kind of hoping it pushes into Vanish country for turn.

I can probably make my Wave/Tesla combo work out real well, two by two hurrah hurrah. Or 3 waves.. Oh so exciting!

Got a new Proton Deflector today. It's a meat hook, just as expected. A big surprise was that the new Proton plastic is nothing like the old one. It's way softer and way way grippier. So far I have been avoiding buying Proton plastic because my old Proton discs were too slippy and too stiff. This new proton is pretty and grippy. A good change!

What kind of plastic is your Tesla? My plasma has a spot in my bag for super OS shots, and i got a fission one expecting a more straight flight, but it still seems pretty OS. Maybe i just need to use it more, but more often than not I reach for my Undertaker for those shots.

I feel like the Atom is the quiet putter for the brand.
Lots of people use it but aren't as outspoken as the Pilot/Envy/Ohm/Proxy people.

Personally, I think its a great mold. After using it a bit this weekend, the Atom let me know that it deserves a larger role in the bag.

I hear you on the Atom. The issue is that Atom/Envy/Proxy are so darn close in terms of usage. Since they all share the same core, the most distinguishing flights are when they are new. In the circle, I think it comes to preference. Off the tee, the Atom seems to have slight more glide, but in the end, the Envy and Proxy are extremely close. I think it comes down to MVP all black rim versus Axion colored rim. For me, the earlier issues I had with the Atom was the quality of the Electron plastic. I am curious how the Atoms will fly with the newer Proxy Electron plastic.

I just ordered a Neutron Atom - which I know is OOP. But I'm fed up with the Envy. Entropy has all but knocked it out of my bag this year. I really need a 4 speed stable for shots under 300' - my Matrix is too long. I'm thinking the Neutron Atom should settle in better for that spot in my bag than the Envy has.

I can't throw my plasmas worth a damn all my Tesla's are fission in the bag. 155 (BH) and 162 (FH) of course I still forehand the lighter one a fair bit and will BH the heavy one when required as a beefy driver.

I have settled in on a Plasma Proxy (163g), Electron Proxy (173g), Electron Entropy (172g) and Neutron Entropy (170g). The one the really kicked the Envy out was the Electron Entropy.

I putt with Neutron Entropy so I look forward to stock stamp Electrons in the future. I never bonded with the Proxy. I briefly carried electron Atom but the electron puddle tops were terrible. Hoping the Atom is similar to the FR Matrix plastic. That was the best plastic MVP has produced - in my opinion

The new Electron blend is the best yet. I agree the early Electron warped and clovered super easily. The Electron Proxies have a higher shoulder than any of the other plastics and they have held up quite well in the woods. Sure there are rim scratches but the flight plate shows no warping. The Electron Entropies are also holding up a bit better than the older Electron. I put more force into these and they tend to fade harder -- resulting in more stress on the disc. The oldest one I throw has one slight warp but it still holds up great. I have not seen if there are any Atoms in this newer Electron blend but you might want to check it out once Atoms are restocked in the newer blend.
