But of course there were several groups of Co-vidiots on the course...
Had to get off the couch and get to a course yesterday, even tho I'm still feeling pretty rough..On the way there, i got a call from one of the 2 people i was meeting to play in Beavercreek. He stated AS PER LARGE SIGN AT ENTRANCE there are only 14 parking spots marked off and parking was full. Therefore ,we need to park elsewhere. He parked on a side street, and i parked down the street at a carryout. out third picked us up and we went to lot and waited a minute for parking spot 14 to open up. then we parked and played...I was pretty pissed when we finished our round and there was over 20 cars cramed in parking lot... I really hope it wasnt anyone on this page .Now is NOT the time to get lazy and relax our social distancing...If they pull all our courses, life will really suck.PLEASE be responsible thru these tough times..
Just posted on a local disc golf page. The obvious has been pointed out to the OP and he still doesn't get it. :wall:
Perfect highlight of ignorance. Entitlement allows them to honestly believe that rules are designed for others. At times it seems that morons like this, outnumber us. This is the group of covidiots that will get that course closed for everyone. They will then become social media warriors, decrying the injustice of their right being trampled upon.
I am honestly starting to get salty about the time I spend and volunteer for this group of disc golfers.
No social media warrior here (unlike you and others with your name calling in this thread). Just living and enjoying our lives like normal. Work has even started ramping back up to 100%. Sorry you feel that everyone is entitled to live how you feel.
you sound like such a strong, independent woman!
It appears everything is getting back to normal quicker than expected. Played Indian Creek in Huntsville Friday with a co-worker and his buddies (one being a doctor).
The park was packed! The walking trail was busier than normal pre-Covid. Several groups discing. Traffic was also busy getting across town. It felt weird. I had gotten used to the desolate roads and parks. Even enjoyed it.
Doc said he hasn't changed a single thing about his daily life. Pretty much the same way I lived through all of this besides going to work less. I did lie to my gf during this time, and told her I was laid off so she wouldn't spend money or ask for it.
So much salt. Enjoy the course today. I know I will.

It's not a God-given right to play disc golf. It is a privilege and one that has been freely given by land-owners and municipalities. That which has been freely provided can be taken away quite easily. If a course is closed simply go play somewhere that's open for play.
Most of our local courses are open, bud.
