Disc Prices Out of Control

I just paid $38 Canadian for a Vandyken Tour Meteor, and $32 for a regular Fierce for a requested birthday gift. Only reason I bought the Fierce was because she keeps stealing mine and will use the crap out of it lol. I'm dreading to see what my James Conrad putter is gonna set me back.

Buncha people not working right now.
Sitting at home and trying to resell rare, and not so rare new discs at inflated prices seems to be the thing to do if your lazy and don't want to work.
Hope it goes well, I'm sure there's a couple people who are making enough money not to get a real job, but the rest of those buying Halos and Sextons to speculate on are probably gonna need another federal bailout soon.

I wonder if this is also the reason for more discs/bags being stolen. Even Paul Ulibarri's bag was stolen before the DGLO (he mentions it during the Jomez Mic'd up Practice Round). I know of others who have had their bags stolen this year. Since I started playing in 2019, I had never heard of a bag/discs being stolen until this year.

Could be the target. Selling his discs might be greater than the value of the car! All those Mantis that aren't currently in production!!!

Also easier to unload plastic than fenders and cv axels!

Thanks....that was more information than what was in the video (he only mentioned his discs...not that his mom's car got stolen). He did later say it wasn't his bag, but some distance and fairway drivers that he had swapped out of his bag.

That was before my time in disc golf. But I've been playing for two years and this is the first I've heard of multiple people having their bags stolen....just saw another FB post of a bag being stolen in California. That makes seven this year that I've heard of.

While that disc might be a part of something special, I bet he'd miss his Entropy more out on the course. He has hit quite a few aces with that thing so far this season but for some reason people don't seem to be all ga-ga over the Entropy like they are over the Envy.

Yeah I noticed how much more important the entropy is to his hole by hole game. The envy was just the right disc, in the right place at the right time with a ton of cameras recording haha. I get the feeling when he beats in a few Nomads he'll want to get away from the envy but he will be stuck with it forever now!!! Muhahahahahaha

Disc golf is probably the cheapest sport out there. Technically you only need 1 disc and most courses are free. If you really don't want to spend money on discs, you can find a local course with a water hole and go swimming. I run into people playing that have used the same couple discs for 20 years. The price of Champ/Star discs went up maybe 2 dollars. No big deal. The companies did start producing higher end discs which cost more but you don't have to buy them.

Last fall I lost my favorite Buzzz so I bought a pink Reid Frescura ESP Buzzz for $20. Id say money well spent!
