I have learned a tremendous amount from you and your posts in this thread and up until that one I thought we were having a good discussion. I'm really just trying to understand the situation and the parts I don't understand.

I can totally empathize with the effects of that little sleep, hope you are able to get more rest going forward although it doesn't seem like things are slowing down anytime soon

When players sign up with the PDGA, I have always wondered what their legal designation is and this lack of knowledge has probably contributed to my confusion up to this point. Employees? Independent contractors? Neither? I was a paralegal for a couple attorneys that did employment law and my short time with that showed me how incredibly complicated it can be and almost always is

In her defense, I believe she, at least, has a say in the matter. I cannot say the same of the slew of vocal male interlopers.

Rating probably should not matter. The issue is NOT an FPO issue, it is not a DGPT issue....it is a PDGA issue.

Thank you. I know people get all up in arms about this. I am just trying to have an open discussion. FFS I do call Paul mcbeth HE bc HE says himself. Trust me if he were someone that was gender neutral it would be in all his profiles as they/them. Just like a cross fitter they will let you know immediately. I really don't care what you call me it really isn't that big of a deal to the majority of the population. Trust me, I would not risk my damn life every day for strangers if I was prejudice in any way.

I probably wouldn't say this except I'm just home from happy hour and I'm looking at the World through the bottom of a couple of pints of Imperial Stout, but a lot of new players lack the perspective of history. Women's disc golf has never been viable. It's been this tiny slice of a small niche sport; the participation numbers historically have been pathetic. We never pulled the plug on them, though. The thought in disc golf was that it was important to have a sport where everyone would be included, so women's disc golf has been propped up and carried along for 40+ years.

So what happens the minute that women's disc golf looks like it might become viable? Yeah, they want to exclude people. :|

Disc golf was a lot simpler when there was no money in it.

She's got all of the justifications to say what she says on the topic. As opposed to cisgender men.
I might not necessarily like what she says, or how she says it.
But she's absolutely got the right to do so, and to be heard, because she is at the very least potentially harmed in this.
Cisgender men are not harmed in this.
