The link to the course provided would have answered that :hfive:-- it's scenery is worth being out in the open a bit -- the Blue Ridge mountains are panorama'd for many tee shots.
But the course offers a LOT of elevation change that doesn't translate to photographs well enough -- big ups AND downs that will challenge you regardless of obstacles, and they add in they woods and OB water where possible. If you come South for a roadtrip, this is a great break from the tightness of Charlotte/western Carolinas, and you work your wind and elevation game.
Excellent facilities -- private course, and you never forget it - throwing through the orchard/ vineyard, the hospitality, food, bathrooms, etc.
 
OK, I can see the appeal. You have redeemed the course :) :thmbup:
 
nothing real special but figured i'd post a cell phone pic i took yesterday at osborne dgc which is on the shore of lake erie. it was crazy windy and the waves were huge.
