Hole of the Day....

Hudson Mills Metro Park, Ann Arbor, MI - Hole #2

Can't really see the basket in the featured pic, but the description states the big tree in the fairway gaurds it a bit and it is relatively close to the line of trees on the left. The last picture has a red square to mark the basket.

SHORT TEE: 275 FT

LONG TEE: 350 FT

Fairway shot from near long tee - red square is basket...

I plan on playing this course in July!

Short one, I might be able to take my Core or Xpress and anny around the left of the forward tree, but Taking a Pred on a hyzer from either tee out to the right side of that front tree would probably be the best bet.

Now that I posted it, maybe I'll tell you what I'd throw...

RHBH

Short: Flat to Roc, out to the right or possibly a Whippet skip shot
Long: DX Gazelle, up a little so that is fade back under/behind the tree

Doesn't look like there is room for a big hyzer or anny/flex shot

I'd throw a Gazelle on an 'S' or a newish Teebird on an 'S' depending on what it looks like when I'm acutally standing at the tee.

Looking at the long tee pic, the hyzer line looks blocked, but looking at the third pic, it appears the "rough" has been clear back. obviously, the pics weren't all taken at the same time.

If it is clear enough, I'd go the hyzer route as well...otherwise stick with my S shot...

Short: DX Teebird on slight anny release. Reach in putt.
Long: Opto Striker flat, and a three putt to finish.

RHBH - approach down center / right of fairway.

Short: DX Roc / Crystal Buzzz [depending on which one everybody on here feels is the better disc (we should start a thread on that!!!)] straight at it.
Long: Star Wraith aiming slightly to the right of target on release...

When you throw S shots w/ a Gazelle, do you give it a slight anny release and aim a touch higher to make sure it fades back bigger? I get caught with my DX turning too much and my 11X/CFR Gazelles not turning enough...:|

Short would be a roc down the right side on a hyzer flip line and long would be an Eagle or an Orion LF on the same line depending on how much height/room I have over there. I can't really tell if I would have to go under the big trees limbs or if I can throw to the right of them.

long tee, flip a leopard or maybe roadrunner straight at it. 3.

short, tough call...either hyzer a teebird or maybe a banshee high over the tree on the right, or a buzzz straight at it.

Short: my newish Striker on a hyzer line to avoid that tree and hopefully be sitting on the other side of it for the approach/birdie shot.

Long: seasoned Stalker thrown flat so that is just turns to the right and never really fades back. I should hopefully end up short of the tree and to the right.

Short: I'd throw a Buzzz down the right for a gentle fade in right at the pin.

Long: Same look with an Apache.

RHBH
I can't really tell if the hyzer line is completely blocked, so I'd probably use my Avenger on both tees. I like it for tight tunnel shots.

Short: RHBH my Gator looking to fade around the tree
Long: Hyzer flip my LS Polaris or Eagle if there's a decent headwind.

Short: SA a Wasp or maybe even a Talon if its windy. Try to keep it low and a little to the left of the big tree.

Long: beaten Crush right down the middle.

Short: RHBH ESP Buzzz slightly to the right
Long: RHBH Star Teebird slightly to the right

Note: I'm offline again tonight if somebody wants to start the Hole of the Day thread again. Thanks Toothyfish!

Short - RHBH with the Valkyrie...
Long - RHFH with my Surge SS right down the pipe...
