How can you tell if a disc is KC Pro and CE blend? For example, I have a KC Pro Teebird 10x that I am wondering whether or not it is a blend. It feels more "taffy" like than my KC Pro Firebird, but I am not sure.

How can you tell?

i know on the 10x KC Pro gazelles, if it's a CE Blend, you will leave visible fingerprints.

EDIT: jeff both mine are tye-dyed

i have had a few discs that have been like this......

2004 super roc
10x kc pro teebird
11x kc pro cheetah
9x kc pro firebird

thats all i can remember off the top of my head......does that mean they are CE...?

mine are so visible it looks like my thumbprint was pressed in the plastic itself

2004 super roc
10x kc pro teebirdhe won his 10th in 2000
11x kc pro cheetahhe won his 11th on 2002
9x kc pro firebirdhe won his 9th in 98'

i guess the last three could be right...?

im sure it's possible. someone who knows more about CE would have to confirm for sure. i thought the years for CE were 2000-early 03

Yea... Usually the KC Pros that are somewhat slick, but still grippy are CE Blend... Usually pretty tacky, and 10xs... Anything that is a 9x may be a CE blend, but since actual CE Plastic was run from 2000-2003, its prolly not CE. Some 10x(The later runs), and some 11x KC Pro discs are CE. The 11x CE is the candy plastic, the later run of CE.

lol u need to clean up that explanation. its alljust a bunch of ramble and i still got confused even though i knew what ur talkn about

Lol, I know... I just reread it...

10x (Later Runs)- CE Blend
11x - Candy Plastic (Late CE)

Better?

Yes, but I have had some that differ in feeling/tackiness. I had one, that definately was CE blend, and another red one that felt more like champ...

Not all pro lines though... For instance, pro line cobras, pro line orcs, pro line beasts may not be... (Not too sure on the beasts, maybe the earlier ones are... Since they came out in 2003)

What booter said. Still thinkinng about it, even though I now the answer.
