I have one that is called simply "disc golf" by sutibo, the graphics are cheesy as hell, but it tracks up to 9 golfers, any number of strokes, and any number of holes which is nice when you play courses with 20 holes or odd numbers other than the standard 9 or 18.

You can save courses
Super easy to use. Simply touch the players name and it asks what they shot on the hole. When your done just hit next hole, and if you made a mistake you can go back to previous holes.
You can save your rounds and also send it via email to your PC.

There's a disc golf video game called "iDiscGolf Pro" that's good for when you're taking a long dump or something.

Love this game. Four courses with two sets of tees on each. Definitely throne-worthy.

be careful if you start the round at hole 12 instead on hole 1, when you get to hole 18 it thinks you are done and quits the round and will not let you go back to edit it.
I'm using dg caddy which is a little bit better but has some issues too.

I've decided I'm going to try to put together a more feature-rich mobile site. Developing separate apps for all the different platforms is far too costly between Android, Apple, Windows and Blackberry. With a decent mobile site everyone would be able to use it and I'd only have one thing to update.
FYI, there is http://www.dgcoursereview.com/mobile for looking up courses right now. It's very basic, designed initially with non-smartphones in mind. I think I'm the only one left that doesn't have one and I don't have a data plan anyway so it might be time for a revamp.
I've never had that issue when scoring a shotgun start event.
Personally if I am just keeping score I find it easier just to use a digital score counter. That way my Blackberry isn't weighting down my pocket and I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched and what not.

Have you given any thought about a web service for course data so app developers can pull course info from DGCR? I recall in a past thread several developers were interested in one.

The issue with an API, other than I have no idea how to make one, is that I'd really need to get a new, beefier server if it was receiving calls from a bunch of different phones all the time. As is, the loads are rather high on here all the time so I'm hesitant to add a feature that would increase that further.
Most people have 3G anyway if you have a smartphone so a mobile site should work for everyone. Plus I plan on making an easy way to enter scores so you can just do that right from the course if you choose to.

I chose to go with an iPod Touch which is essentially the iPhone without the phone or monthly bill.
There's nothing special about an API. It's just like a regular web page but it returns a data structure via XML or JSON. XMLRPC and REST are two common ways to expose them. I'm not a web developer but I'm sure some of the app developers could outline what they would be looking for.
I don't think you can bet that everyone who does have 3G will be able to get it at the golf course. Does Android support offline web apps like Apple does? I think it downloads the javascript sources and uses HTML5 client-side databases to allow you to write a web app which can be used offline.
