Have you seen this MoFo? Golf Mahal?

The links worked fine for me from home. My work must not want me to be lusting for golf bags on company time...

Thanks for the pics. Seeing it beside the Ranger helps with the scale.

What's the wait time like from MR these days?

Im now wondering why someone would pay 250 for a Grip bag. if you can get this thing for 259.

Im really lost.

That's what did it for me - At first I was like... Man, I can't afford $260 for a golf bag, maybe I'll get the Grip for $200. Then I saw the LE Grips @ $250 and though, eh, maybe I'll spring a little extra for the nice one. Then I realized I was an idiot and purchased the GM.

the mahal is hands down the best. can't really even compare it to the new grip. my honest opinion.

better quality, better comfort, better everything.

do yourself a favor if you're deciding between the two. get a mahal. you won't regret it.

long story short: all i had to do was scratch my fingernails on the grip to realize it wasn't for me. and pick it up by a strap.

this isn't intended to stir up some bag war...just something for prospective bag buyers to keep in mind.

I am sure there are several reasons why the Grip was chosen over the mahal.
1. Its supporting a disc golf specific company
2. Though the mahal size is customizable, some don't want that and just want a bag that will hold what they need every round and keep the same look
3. It isn't what the pros use.

I am sure there are more, but this is just my 2 cents.

Mine is on the way! (Thanks again mm1983!) I'm so f'n stoked to get this thing! As soon as I discovered the exisience of the Mahal, I knew what bag I would be gunning for.

I have always stongly believed that you are far better off buying the best quality you can find (and afford) once instead of buying/replacing an inferior product repeatedly. Every time that I have cheaped out on a product that I use regularly, I have been frustrated and annoyed when it inevitably fails at the most inconvienient time. That will not be the case this time.

Cheers folks, I'm looking forward to joining the club.

those are three not so good reasons.

thats similar to saying.

I wont drive a BMW over a Camry even if they are the same price because NASCAR drivers dont drive BMWs and I dont need a luxurious interior and superior handling and power.

I own a Grip, I always thought that the Golf Mahal was over 300 bucks. I dont feel like what im carrying is really a 200 bag. not after seeing what I could get for 260.

i think through sarcasm he's saying there is no good reason. mahal is the clear winner.

or maybe not.

I'm simply saying, those are some of the reasons someone would choose the grip over the mahal. didn't say they were logical

Damn you people and your reasons, I just bought a midnight.
There will either be a Mahal or Mojo in the MP soon.

I have a Majal, Grip L, and Spinal Tap at the moment. The majal and st are recent additions, while I've had the grip for 7 months.

The majal makes me giddy. You can feel the quality of the materials, the structure of the bag is solid, great pockets.
The grip is nice, efficient, clean. After skinnylimbs foam pipe fix, tipping is not an issue at all.
The spinal tap is bulky, boxy, childish, the back panel feels so cheap. ehhh...may be selling it off.

With the three bags (grip A-series) being similarly priced, the majal is the clear winner for me.

I like the sound of this. My wife ordered me a Foilage Mahal today for Father's Day!

Yea Johnny, it is awesome.
I was suprised by the size. Inwas expecting it to be comically large. If you don't stuff it, the bag is very reasonable. And if you do want the space, it's there for you.

Question. How much padding is on the back? I understand the yoke system makes it ride more comfortably, but I also want it to have a good amount of cushioning. My chimp/quads have been irking my lower back lately, and I want a bag that's as comfortable as possible. Trying to decide between this or the spinal tap. The lifetime warranty is appealing, but I need to know if its comfortable.
