^^Stevie Van Astronaught playin' it from where it lies...which happened to be some sort of trash-filled run-off stream. :gross:

Just curious when playing casual do you play "play it as it lies" for water? In other words if you throw in the water instead of taking the stroke you have an option of playing like you normally would behind your disc :D. So far only one of us have taken advantage. I used to have a pic of him putting from the water but that was on my other phone.

Yeah we typically decide before hand on OB, water, stuff like that but basically we almost always go casual and allow "play-it-where-it-lies."

i get a lot of really bad lies, some of which are pretty comical. i'll start carrying a camera with me with this thread in mind

When I was still super nooby, I was at a small 9-holer by my house. I let an older gentleman play through, because it was obvious he knew what he was doing. He tees off and his disc lands in a small crab apple tree. He walks to it, pulls out a camera and takes a picture. He had let me tee off as well, and I asked him what he was doing. He said that he always took pictures of his horrible lies, so that he could remember not to land there in the future! :D

I thought this was a hilarious idea, and that x-mas I got my first digital camera just to carry around out on the course to capture my bad lies (although now I take pictures of it all: good, bad, indifferent).

ive had a disc covered in ticks like those ants. by the time i got there it was too late. i had at least 50 on each leg, in my bag on my water jug. tick beds are nasty and those little fu*kers are quick to act. i was itching for months, no joke

to make matters worse i ate boomers the night before and hadnt slept, i stripped naked on the next teebox and refused to move. talk about a bad trip. my friend was furious i didnt help him search for his lost disc.. traumatizing experience.

I met this guy at Elon Park in charlotte about a month ago. Him and some other guys were road tripping. DG is a small world.

That included me. Huh. Small world indeed. :)
