Review by bjreagh in course Rotary Park DGC

3.00 star(s) Improvements made! Update- 2/25/23: Rotary now has a full 18 holes, each with a short and long basket clearly color coded. This is now a really nice intermediate course. Great mix of open and woods, hole lengths, some elevation, fairway shapes, etc. Good scenery, pretty land, multiple little...

Review by bjreagh in course Huggins Park

1.00 star(s) Trending Down Interesting design for a 9-hole short course. Geared towards kids and new players, and does a good job. Black Dynamic baskets look enticing. I found at least 1 tee area for each hole, distance and hole number marked on the small sign post. The design was quite creative. Used...

    DG courses near airports

Sharp Springs, Smyrna TN fits the description. The Smyrna airport is about a mile away. Airport Park already mentioned, but I agree the course is not so good. On a side noteLexington, TN course plays on a WWII era airfield and over a runway... the old airport is no longer used, however.

Review by bjreagh in course Central Valley DGC

3.50 star(s) Central Valley is a well-designed 18-hole course set in a nice patch of land that is ideal for disc golf. Just the parking lot is shared by Greenway and horse trail users, so it is great that the course area is 100% dedicated to disc golf, with 0 interference from other activities. The setting...

Review by bjreagh in course Powell Station Park

2.00 star(s) This is a basic/standard 9 hole city park course, most likely to be enjoyed by newer to intermediate players. Park was nice, ample parking, big kiosk with course map. Course is set apart from the other features of the park. 9 good baskets, really nice brick tees, and colorful tee signs...

Review by bjreagh in course Inskip Park Junior DGC

1.50 star(s) The primary purpose here is a course for kids and beginners, and what a good one it is. It achieves this by its hole lengths, however don't let the distances fool you because the design is interesting and provides a good glimpse of many challenges one would find on more difficult courses...

Review by bjreagh in course Hop Springs Beer Park

2.50 star(s) Update- might be something brewin'... Course is on a HUGE piece of property that just begs for disc golf to be here, so I am glad there is (or at least it is a work in progress). Terrain is primarily grassy fields lined with tall grass rough, with plenty of large trees to add to the scenery and...

    Classic Review lines

Cerealman's 1st line of the review of The Ville "While Rogersville was settled in 1775, this tiny town with ties to Davy Crockett finally has a disc golf course after nearly two-and-a-half centuries of existence."
