Welcome to the NW! I would recommend hitting up both seatac and lakewood as they are right down the road from one another. A really fun little nine holer is the Excaliber in Silver Lake (Everett) for practice/quick rounds. As for great courses, the two I mentioned, Whiteriver, Shelton Springs, anywhere on the peninsula (NAD, Fairgrounds, Bud Pell @ Ross Farms), etc. Mountlake Terrace is close and can be challenging as well as North Park but both can get busy.
