sup bud, we are walking the place tmrw evening and deciding a course of attack. contact me for sponsorship info. thanks man! ill keep u updated.
not much....i know they have around 5 or more sponsors for the holes....but i think work has slowed....i have been swamped with side jobs and have not had a chance to get out to clear or even play
Yea that's what I hear but I'm just gonna play it smart. Can't lift heavy stuff anymore or anything like that. Gotta get my form correct in Disc golf so that I don't tweak it more
I was told they were going to be chopped up or taken out with a truck. My back is to the point that I can't lift anything so my original plans have had to change.
Unfortunately no. I don't have enough $ currently to get a tank of gas to get there and back lol. May be there next friday.
Did not play today. I am planning on going out to Wild Pine DGC tomorrow and getting a truckload of the firewood out there and pulling some more branches/trees out of the way. Should be there most of the morning and then play a round about noon or so.
    Hi,

Yeah, been playing for a while, I can keep up with those young whippersnappers... LOL --don't have the distance but make up for that with accuracy. My arm (tennis elbow) has been messed up since Oct so I've been limiting my play. I played EVERYDAY sometimes 2 or 3 games a day for a year+, that's what messed up my arm. I should stop all together for a couple of months but it's too damn much fun. I've been retired about 5 yrs now so we could play anytime.. maybe meet at Sanford or one of those Pinehurst courses someday....haven't played them.

I can see that. I still think that tee placement is going to be crucial to the design of the course.
thanks bro - I have the kids this weekend and for the week, but will hit it next week. hopefully tyler's and the saucer will still have it. I must admit, while not a fan of the saucer, they have really been coming thru with solid beers on tap - hopslam last week.
Ok thats cool. I was just wondering. Saw it wasnt up and I figured you had made a decision like that. I still hope to stop by one day. Maybe one the weekends when we're working on Chicken plant. Im trying my best to get stan down to reflag the back 9 there so that we can begin cutting and clearing. It is hard to follow because the flags are so old. Once that is done Im gonna try and make it up there every weekend to do work.
Thanks again for letting us come out and enjoy the course. Everyone thoroughly loved it. And thanks for the recommendation on lunch and Fox Chase. We played Fox Chase twice before heading home. Hope to see you again. Happy slinging!
it does not matter to me but I believe that Climbingkid already posted it one time before the fairways were ever cut. He is the boy scout that is doing the project. It was on DGCR for a few days and then taken off.
you going to post the pinehurst course...? or you want me to..? i took some pics but im not able to get them to the right size....thats the reason i didnt upload all the pine cone crush ones....i dont know how to work this damn computer!!
yea I hated catawba meadows with a passion for some reason, had an awful experience and really so bland haha. Where are you from man? and you have a private course? I just got through with a my own little course in the mtns of NC
yea I would like to find an old deck being replaced and get some material to make a few benches for the course at the house.
yeah thanks....we took down a deck at work and i had a big pile of stuff to make about 5-6 benches....i only had room in my truck to take a few boards home that day....went back the next day and the guys had already taken them to the dump.....hopefully i can get some more....
I'm usually a safety-schmafety kind of guy but that hole does need some precautionary measures. They could either cut steps into their roped off trail on the left (less work but doesn't do much for players who get their discs stuck somehow on the slope) or zig zag a trail down that slope like at Ashe Co.
Hey, whats happening, been playing a little at Asheboro and over in Archdale. If the wind will slow up some, may play in Southern Pines or Asheboro tomorrow morning, my boys are wanting to play bad. Talk to ya soon, Tom
there was 16 i think...they are going to do it again for fun , no money tomorrow at 4:30pm......i think they are going to try a weekly thing.....they have a facebook page ....my wife is on there and lets me know....
yeah i went out....it was cold and wet but i had a good time....missed out on $80 by 1 shot....there was a 4 way tie for first and we got a bogey on 18...they are going to try to do it every month...i will let you know when i hear about the next one ....
