That is correct. We're working under the assumption that he's outside 10m, but it's still a foul that would result in a penalty

    New Discraft Clinic Video

I don't think it comes down to the 10m rule because the disc is still in his hand when the knee touches. You can't have part of your body touching the playing surface ahead of the mark before release regardless of distance to the pin. If the disc had left his hand already, and he's outside 10m...

    Just starting out. Disc recommendations?

Here's what I'd start out with if I had it to do all over again with the discs currently available: Driver: Discraft Stalker- straightest driver out there, and easy to control even if you don't possess much power. This is a disc that can stay in your bag as you gain power too because it has...

    New Discraft Clinic Video

I'm gonna have to call shenanigans on the dive putt on the last shot. It's a foot fault... or rather a knee fault because his right knee hits the ground ahead of the marker prior to release. Just starting out. Disc recommendations?

How good of an arm do you have in general? Are you pretty good at throwing an ultimate frisbee disc, baseball, football, etc... ? If you are already fairly accomplished at throwing something else, your learning curve will be steeper and you'll outgrow some of the very understable discs rather...

Would a homemade disc be understable?

http://www.protogenic.com/Durable-Prototypes.aspx The PG606 Shore D Urethane would be a great option for a disc

Would a homemade disc be understable?

There are stereolithography machines that are capable of printing in very durable plastics with nice surface finishes, though there are also ones that will be very rough, and fragile. You just have to spend a little more if you want the good stuff.
