    I understand that. I'm originally from AR and got the opportunity to travel, but it's amazing what just a few miles difference in latitude can do for your weather. I can't really advise much as far as renting goes, about any place around here though, so sorry about that.

    So she'd be in the Lufkin ISD? Have you looked into the Hudson school district? I don't have any kids, but my wife's brother went to Hudson, and from what I understand it's a very good school, and it's a bit smaller. We live in Brookhollow and like it well. My main complaint with Lufkin is the same as with this entire area and that's the lack of seasons, but oh well.
