Review by Duke CT in course Keney Park

4.00 star(s) Great addition to the area * Very imaginative lay-out, excellent use of the topography in the park. * Great variety of wide open let 'er rip holes and challenging wooded holes. * Two tees each hole * You can (and should) use backhand and forehand throws. * No tee pads (however, since the...

4.00 star(s) Time for Wick to drop some $! The alternate tee on 8 is the only one I play. It makes it a great hole and a helluva par 3. The long pin placement on 9 is excellent and makes the hole a challenging par 4. However, both alternates are out of sight and there's no sign for them, they are seldom...

    Basket question

Neighbors Hi Karl, I live in Broad Brook (East Windsor). That's where the course will be. It'll be across the street from the Reservoir Park, near the Dog and Skate Parks. It's a beautiful piece of land with water and elevation changes. It's mostly wooded but there are old farm roads that...

    Basket question

Hi all, I'm in the process of developing a course in CT. Has anyone played a course with Disc Nation Liberty baskets? They are much less expensive but I do not want to get what I'm paying for if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance! Keep rattlin' them chains!

    Disc Reccomendation

Disc recommendations I love the Beast, especially in wooded areas. In windy areas, the Beast or a Katana, when they catch a left-right cross wind, will get caught up and sail far to the right. No good. I found the Tern or Vibram Lace are very good in windy conditions. They fly a mile and...

Review by Duke CT in course Sunrise Park

2.00 star(s) Good practice and heavy snow course I played yesterday in heavy snow (@6+"). With ribbon duct taped to the disc, I didn't have to worry about losing it. Also, because it's a fairly level field, I didn't have to worry about a misstep and tweaking my ankle or knee (my knees are in rough shape)...

What's the coldest day you'll play?

I'll play in most any temp. However, given my bad knees, lotsa snow or ice would deter me.
