Depending on whats going on with my friend I might be able to join you, give me a message on here in the AM if you do head this way, or send me a text or call 262 894 3404. It may be the day I meet up at the Silver Lake course but I have to be in Waterford by 11:30 at my inlaws for the packers game, so if he canot go early I would be free in the early AM.
Yeah they are not all that interesting really, the best holes are on the golf course arent open for a few more weeks.

If you pull into the parking lot the 1st tee is on the south end of the parking lot. Head south, then hole 2 comes right back north to the parking lot again, is across the road headed north, 4 started underneath the north goalpost of the football field and ends in the section of about 6 trees in the southeast corner of that parcel of land. Cross the road again and 5 is a tight technical left to righter. 6 turns and heads back north, as does 7. 8 tee is tucked up in the grove of evergreens on you left as you putt out on 7 and it heads straight south, and 9 tees off from the trees and ends right back in the other grove of trees to the west. It isnt worth the trip up for those 9 holes in my opinion, because the best holes are ont he golf course.
I am unsure as to when we will be going to Fox river park. I hope to do it friday but if he is available and wanted to go down monday tuesday or wednesday I will work my schedule to make it happen on his time. I do not see your message about where you work . . . I don't think.
I am heading down to the silver lake course with the designer next week. I do not know what stage he is at exactly, I think he has things laid out, but wants to go over the placements one more time. I am excited to get involved in this process now, and it will be really enjoyable to see a course before it is a course.
Right now, I work for Breezy Hill Nursery, at their farm in Clinton, which is near Beloit. I am the wholesale yard foreman, and all around nursery gringo. It's not really a good fit for me, i'm more of a detail and quality oriented person than a quantity and speed person. Before that, worked for Rich's foxwillow pines and before that Garden of Eder Nursery. Did 2 years worth of a Plant biology degree at U of MN before boring lab work and family issues brought me back to WI, and i got an associates degree in Landscape Horticulture emphasizing Maintenance/Arboriculture from MATC. I'm actually planning on attending UWM in the spring, which will bring me back to milwaukee, to find a new job. And yes, I have been known to walk around the nursery with a felco in each hand, but somehow i managed to lose my lefty felco and its holster. nowadays i prefer a felco in the right and a silky zubat in the left. What's the name of your company?
What nursery do you work for? Did you go to school for horticulture? My wife and I went to the U of MN. I graduated in 99 and she graduated in 98. We now own a landscape company in Wauwatosa (our shop is in Menomonee Falls). We both came from the golf course maintenance industry before starting this company but love working for ourselves. Just thought I would say hello since we have similar professions.

I love your name and wonder if you walk around pruning with felcos in both hands!
