    Round notes:I thought about not entering this round, but I want to stay honest and keep myself accountable. A great opener followed by the biggest follie of a hole ever. Putt 1 - slid back down to my feet. Putt 2 stuck. Putt 3 off the basket and landed back by my bag. The 4th putt caught some wind and landed up by the stairs, putt 5 was close enough down the hill that I could make putt 6. WTF do you do after an 8 on the second hole? Try and regroup - or - try some seldom used & new discs and see what happens. I chose the later, and I paid for it with my worst round ever at VV. That eight could have been a five by laying up after the first missed putt, but I was stubborn. My brother, who I beat by two in round one, shot 55 and beat me by 14 in round two.

So what do I do... decide to switch from the Innova Sonic to the Discraft magnet for a putter. Bought a #3 driver and a cheetah (cheap) and used those on the course. New putter plus new driver/middies added many strokes to my score.

    Round notes:My midrange game is in the tank, missed two holes 15 & 16 and went back and played them after 20. That brisk walk plus rushing 16 really tuckered me out. 16 was a debacle, I rushed through it since we cut in front of people. Next time slow down. My round already stunk but that really killed the round. Running out of gas was evident on the last three holes as I missed putts I normally would have made. Much like my regular golf game, I need a few practice sessions to get my confidence up and scores down. Over 100 is just not acceptable here.
