Thanks - coming from NW and visiting in Liberty township so Monroe looks like the one. Probably play it 2x starting at 11ish. Thanks for the weather update - hope it will dry out a bit. This part has attributes of some of our local courses like Parmalee and Vienna. If you ever feel like coming north this spring summer - let me know.
    Hi David,
You're welcome. I always like to update course conditions so folks know if there's anything amiss or if it's good to go. Monroe is a blast for a Rec to Intermediate player. Ideally, it'll go below freezing for your visit: we just had a near sixty degree, rain all day kind of Saturday, but the high tomorrow is supposed to freeze us back up. We're not expecting any accumulating snow this week.
Obviously, folks will recommend the Big Three (or Four: Idlewild, Lincoln Ridge, Mt Airy and now Osage Grove) to any out of towner. Depends on your interest and what neck of the woods you want to visit. I'm around the East side of town, but if your visit is all going to be North, Monroe and Turtle Creek make a nice one-two, with the latter's flat terrain evening out the hilly Monroe.
    Enjoy!
