The wife did a good job. Its sturdy, has lots of chains (32, 16 in 16 out) similar to a discatcher. The chains are a little lighter, and so are the wired/poles than the permanent baskets you are used to, but its ment to be a little portable. My biggest worry is it uses plastic sleeves between the cage, bottom and top and pole to keep it from wobbling, I think the plastic may wear, and actually become more wobbly over time. If that ever happens I may just have a muffler shop weld them in place or something. Good basket if you want something that replicates the course. Purely for putting practice, single chain baskets are good as they train you to putt toward the sweet spots. . . I am hoping to install this on a permanent course some day (dreams of having my own land. . . )
Tentative plan is 10am (eastern) @ Fallasburg, just outside of Grand Rapids (I believe it is technically located in Lowell, Mi.).

Other than that, I don't know if we'll hit up another course or not. We'll most likely play Fallasburg x2 or x3 (if we're real men :D) and call it a day. I hope 'Poth doesn't die of the cold! :)
I have tried both of mine and haven't had any problems with either. I haven't tried any really complicated dyes with either of them though.
Good luck on your venture to play a ton of courses this year. I moved to Indianapolis for a year & got to drive a few hours in any direction & played tournaments (as an am3 & still very much learning along the way) in 8 different states a coupe years ago. It was an awesome experience.

If you plan on traveling out of state I highly suggest Lexington, KY for the courses & Indy for the awesome local disc scene.
I usually play Lacey Inn or Whites Acres (private courses in Milford) pretty much since they are within a couple miles of my house. If I go out for a weekend round I like to hit HollyWoods or Independance Lake
