"There are seriously a thousand great mids out there nowadays. Some day, I'll tell my grandchildren about the Golden Age of midranges."

    Other info

I actually played "target disc golf" in the early 80's using my trusty Whamo, 141g frisbee. My best friend and I didn't even know that an official game existed. We just loved to throw frisbees and our own game of disc golf was a total blast.

DGCR members I've played with... inspired by BogeyNoMore's extensive list. In the approximate order of meeting them.
cccp00a, Gflap, Swatso, DWill, Fascinated Flyer, TinHornDan, Beej, gottafixit, knettles, jblough, abutihabo, BogeyNoMore. There are probably more but my memory is lacking sometimes.

7-16-21/Needed somewhere to keep track of my aces as best I can remember. Could probably find a lot of the dates if I tried.
Cloverland Farm (orange *Aviar pan), Dorseys Knob (2) with GFLAP (blue bb Aviar) and during Ace Race I won (Orange Zeppelin?), Knobley Mt. (3) Blue Stingray current W1, white classic Aviar current r4, older pink Buzzz current r8, Ditto Farms short/short3 pink *Aviar pna, Central Assembly of God during league May 2021 r2 older pink buzzz, 7-15-21 r1 older dayglo yellow Aviar pna.

DCB18, are you talking about the Canoe Creek videos or the Dixie Lee videos? On the Canoe Creek drives I should be using a 3-finger power grip.

I use my old "Frisbee" grip only when using an Aviar either for putting or most short approaches and drives. I'll throw that way out to about 150' or so, maybe a little further if the mood hits me. Beyond that, if I'm not using a 3-finger power grip, then I must have lost it! Thanks for checking out the vids... and for watching close enough to be able to check out my grip.
In your videos, when your driving, it looks like you're not using a power-grip (the index finger is on the outside of the rim). Is this true?
Why don't we plan on meeting at Prince Gallitzin and work our way south to Canoe Creek and Valley View on 11/13. Tentative time of meet 1100 or 1200 as I will be leaving from north Jersey that day coming in on I-80.
11/13 in the Altoona area should work for me as I will be coming from the northway and on my way thru Pittsburgh. Details of the MO/WV deuce drop invitational are forthcoming.
Hey Jim, Looks like I will be travelin thru PA on 11/6 on the way out and then 11/13 on the way back. Thinkin Greencastle on 11/6 and or Altoona area on 11/13. Let me know if either of these work for you.
hey jim, saw your sale thread in the metal group.
interested in the scream bloody gore LP and control denied CD. could you give me a quote?
hey jim, thanks for guiding my nephews and I thru Paw Paw. what a great time and nice playing! I probably wont be out east until next year in the late summer or early fall. Maybe we can hit those PA courses. Until then, drop a few more deuces at your local courses.
Jim, all set for 7/10. I will be coming from Columbus, OH so hopefully we can get an early start in Paw Paw. I will keep in touch about details of the 2nd annual MO/WV deuce drop invitational.
Jim, I am heading to Ocean City, MD. So, I'm thinking of hitting Paw Paw, Whispering Falls, and or the Poor House. I should be there by 1pm if I push it. I plan on lodging or camping near there. the date is sat 7/10. Let me know what works for you.
I am interested in quite a few of those, but I'm kinda strapped for cash right now. I'll let ya know if my situation changes.
I have not played any of those. I am going to play in Paw Paw this spring but live 6 hours from christiansburg and have not played there.
